It was nice but could use some room upgrades

I think the room we were in was a deluxe room it could have more things in it to fill room was very empty for its size so sounded like I was in an empty apartment

The location was excellent for our trip. The breakfast was decent. I was glad to see eggs, sausage and the waffles!

Cons:

The beds were so uncomfortable. The mattresses were extremely hard. The pillows offered no support. Our room was not attended to during our stay. Our phone didn't work either. We had to go to the front desk for towels. The first time there was no one there. So I left and sent my son down later.

I'm not staying at this motel again and I will avoid La Quinta going forward.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, the shower was hot, towels were clean.

Cons:

Smelled of smoke almost like there had been a fire in the room previously not cigarette smoke. The room had been repainted recently, but there were like singe marks around the front door that were missed. We were only there one night and we didn't want the hassle of changing rooms so we just made do, but we were on the fence. We probably should have requested another room. Our concern was that the new room wouldn't be better. Also, there were some hairs on the sheets.

Very comfortable and clean place to stay when in the Sacramento area!
Pros:

Nice for our overnight stay. Liked the room on the first floor close to the pool area. Clean and quiet. Decent coffee and breakfast items included.

Safe, clean and convenient
Pros:

Nice and clean, the price good, with an average breakfast. We only had a quick sleepover stay, so can’t say anything about much. The staff were all pleasant, smiling and helpful. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

This was an okay experience
Pros:

The rooms and linens could be cleaner. The parking lot was getting re-asphalted, so that was a bit of a pain. The service and breakfast were great. I would have like to use the pool/hot tub but it had questionable cleanliness. The guest laundry outside is something I have never seen before. The location is next to an in a strip mall, with lots of homeless hanging around.
