Used syringe with the cap off. Glad we didn't step on it

I don't like that there was a used syringe in the bathroom
I feel some kind of compensation should be given for that.

the person at check in was a little rude and unhelpful, like I interrupted him watching YouTube .
the elevator was broken .
The worst part is the floor in the room was sticky , like they mopped it with apple juice.

The room was nice and spacious. The pull out bed felt as if it were broken, very uncomfortable to sleep on. The floors were filthy. My little one & I walked around barefoot & our feet were BLACK! It was really gross. Also we got an email asking when we were checking out, I selected 12pm. Then we got bothered 3 times by the maids & once by phone all before it was 12pm! Why ask what time we are leaving if you are going to bug us constantly? The staff was very nice & helpful, but I did not enjoy those issues, but food was nearby and walkable so that was nice.

It was perfect. I'd have to say the room had to be the cleanest room I've seen here in Sacramento.
The front desk was also great with checking in and out. My previous review about the former manager was true when I said he was rude and useless but this present manager is right on the money. Very polite and professional. Thanked me for my stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Pros:

I enjoyed the breakfast, size of the room, privacy, and the people at the front/check in area were really pleasant.

Cons:

The room did have a funky smell but honestly got over it really fast. Also, to get to the hotel you gotta be dodging the cars going in and out from the In n Out so that was a little annoying.
