Great location, excellent staff and service
Discretionary “service payment” Seemed to me this should be included in the hotel’s prices ?
Fantastic location with a beautiful character to the hotel with in the main lovely welcoming people . Breakfast was lovely and rooms clean and comfortable.
Our check in was pretty matter of fact with the individual on reception quite blunt . Room available time was not forthcoming which hindered our plans .
Basic room accessories were sparse and not really replenished during a two night stay . We would have expected better .
Staff were brilliant. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. Excellent location within walking distance of a lot of London’s main attractions. Elegant bar and restaurant. We felt very at home.
We were in room 444 and there was the constant hum/noise from an extractor or air con unit outside the window all night.
The location was excellent. All the areas within the hotel were beautiful, clean and easily accessible.
The beds were a little on the firm side for me but everything else was perfect.
Such a warm welcome, lovely place.
Excellent location. Friendly and stylish service.
Room was a little dated but clean and comfortable
The location was good for what I needed.
The Executive Single room upon arrival had a terrible smell of cigarettes, although it was clean the overriding smell of cigarettes was overwhelming. The room is located on the corridor and the headboard adjacent to the cleaners cupboard. The room was extremely noisy due to corridor noise, which I do understand and accept somewhat but the main issue I had was how noisy the adjacent cleaners cupboard was and from early hours in the morning until checkout the cleaners were in and out of the cupboard. Not their fault as they need to clean, but the sound insulation in this room is terrible, and should be looked at. As a consequence I didn't sleep well at all, nor did I feel rested. Also, I had previously asked for a late check out at the time of booking which was accepted but when I asked to confirm this in the morning at Reception, I was told they would call me back to confirm - they didn't call me back till 12:00 so I'd already packed and about to vacate the room so did not benefit from having a rest in the morning. However the worst part of the experience was when I checked out and I gave the receptionist the feedback who advised that she would get her manager to call me to offer a formal apology and look at maybe providing a part refund (I have name of individual spoken to); yet to this day nobody has called me. Poor service. The breakfast was nice but overpriced. Due to this experience, I wouldn't stay here again.

Cleanliness and location
Nothing
The staff was terrific — a special shoutout to Robert the doorman who helped steer me in the right direction on many occasions.
Colazione ottima
Lift ist an zwei Tagen nicht gegangen, was im 4. Stock unangenehm ist. Einstellung Raumtemperatur schwierig. In der Dusche kommt das Wasser abwechselnd heiß und kalt!
Decent quality, once you get it.
Very substandard for what they want to be. Rock hard beds that were only mildly acceptable once an a topper was added. Lots of scruffs and nicks in tre first room I was offered, and no minibar on a five-star? After raising this I was upgraded to a higher category, which is commendable and saved the holiday experience. Still, the minibar in the new room was barely stocked, did not have a menu or a bottle opener. These might be small issues, but they are fatal to the air this kind of hotel wants to put on.
