It was a wonderful stay. The best part is that they accomodated and dealt with a family with little kids really well. I would like to name Ms Maria the lady I ramdomly walked to asking for help - really really obliged and the lady manager in the the morning and the lady incharge at the conceirge, and the gentlmen from the conceirge team at the main entrance, Annebela at reservation, Gonzales at the fron desk, the lady who checked us out, were all just so nice and helpful, that made our stay truly pleasant. The location is brilliant, close to everything. We had an excellent stay.
True 5 star experience
Nothing
Our room (818) was quiet, newly renovated in a modern yet comfortable fashion and kept immaculately clean. Part of our stay was with a tour group, some of which had rooms that were sorely in need of renovation so inquire. The hotel is just across the street from Eduardo park and Estufa Fria, a truly lovely and peaceful botanic garden with lake and wildlife views (turtles, swans, peacocks). Many sites are about 20-30 minutes walk but Uber is very reasonable. The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive yet they also offer made to order omelets. Excellent service all around. We would definitely stay here again.
Excellent quality hotel. Beautiful lobby, helpful staff, and lovely room. I especially love that there is not only a bathroom door, but a solid wood door that is on a hinge and closes! (As opposed to a sliding/barn door or no door at all that so many hotels are doing now, which is awful!!!) Breakfast was very good and was happy there was a gym, even though it could use some better equipment and a Peloton. If you're like me and absolutely hate that hotels are putting cheap sliding doors, or no doors at all, on the bathrooms, then this hotel is for you! Location is decent, but we found ourselves taking an Uber a lot, but they're so cheap in Lisbon it was perfectly fine, and more convenient than the public transportation.
Great city break. Everyone was so polite especially Carolina (guest service Manager). Hope we will come back again. Thank you again :)

Phenomenal staff, great location, nice quiet rooms with super comfortable beds. Superb attention to detail by the IHG team onsite and best of all, they do it all with a smile!
WiFi was a little unreliable in some parts of the building
After staying at a 5 star hotel in Porto before visiting Lisbon, this was quite the contrast when my mom and I arrived to the Intercontinental. This was my first stay at an Intercontinental property and most definitely my last.
The rooms are very dated, tiny closet with small rickety drawers. The light in the closet would just flick on and off as you hang your jacket.
The bathroom was large but the towels were dingy, thin, rough and smelled musty, like they are kept in a basement closet. I was nervous they would give me a rash. No washcloths are provided either. Just 2 formerly white bath towels and 2 hand towels for 2 people. There's also a slippery beige bath mat for the tub (shower tub combo is white) like from the 90s that doesn't suction too well. I banged my knee twice stepping into the tub because of it. Also no shower door, just a half glass so the floor gets wet.
There are only USB chargers next to the bed but no outlets so you can plug in a USBC cable. I had to unplug the bedside lamp. There was an overhead bed light but if I moved/adjusted it, it would just fall. The WiFi was unreliable. Also, can hear any noise from the hallway.
Service was inconsistent. Our first morning at breakfast was a little chaotic. No one tells you you can order eggs from a server (I only knew from reading the reviews here). Our omelettes were tasteless the first morning but improved thereafter, as did the service. Good assortment otherwise, something for everyone. Mgmt seems to really care, making sure everything is replenished. Wanda was very sweet and welcoming.
Some of the doormen were very friendly and gracious, some ignored me
(a couple were standing around after I opened my own Uber door. I smiled and said hello- got nothing back), another night there was no one present at all.
I'm just very confused how this is a 5 star hotel. Also, if you don't want to take an Uber everywhere, this is not a good walking location. It is far from downtown.
A pleasant stay at the InterContinental Lisbon.
All staff they are fantastic
A única coisa que eu não gostei foi do guarda roupa. Muito pequeno para 2 pessoas
Great first stay at the Intercontinental Lisbon. Arrived after checkin time and my room was ready. I was shown to my room and immediately had a comfy and quiet full night’s sleep. Room was very clean and well maintained, with convenient power ports, and a wonderful bed.
For the rest of my stay, I took breakfast in the lounge, and enjoyed the evening happy hour. The lounge staff was wonderful, especially Jessica who remembered everything about her guests. The evening lounge offering was beyond what was expected, similar so to something you’d see at a Ritz Carlton Club in the U.S.
The hotel is conveniently located across from a park, and near groceries, shopping, dining and metro. While in town for a specific purpose, I did had time to walk the area and enjoy the park and window shopping.
Lovely stay. Can’t wait to return.
P.S. On my last visit, stayed at the Ivens, which was nice, but honestly I prefer the Intercontinental (plus the price point is better).
Lokalizacja znakomita, spacerem do centrum. Personel bardzo przyjazny, życzliwy, profesjonalny.
Czuliśmy się jak w domu mimo,że to duży hotel.
A true Intercontinental hotel, loyal to the standards of IHG and InterContinental, friendly staff and clean rooms. Good restaurant for a dinner
Goed hotel, vriendelijke personeel en moderne kamers (ondanks dat het gebouw er wat oud uitziet aan de buitenkant). prima locatie met veel restaurantjes in de omgeving

Received a lovely warm welcome from the Club Intercontinental lounge staff. This is a hotel that certainly appreciates its guests.
I received an email a week or so before the stay, noting my Lounge Pass and offering me to check in at the Lounge. After being introduced to the staff a warm Pastel de Nata was presented, with an offer of a drink.
In no time at all I was given keys to an upgraded Riverview room. In the room was a beautiful cake and bottle of Tawny Port with some water as a welcome. The hotel is small and cosy, but has a lovely bar and restaurant.
I took breakfast the first morning in the restaurant and there was a lot of choice, it was calm which was surprising as the hotel was fully booked. The restaurant is really stylish and the staff very lovely. Decided on the lounge the next morning and you could get something cooked to order. Plenty of choice but not as much as the restaurant.
Had two lovely cocktails as welcome drinks for our welcome amenity and really enjoyed our stay. It’s not the most perfectly located hotel but Bolt and Uber are plentiful and very cheap.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat, really loved the lounge offering and the wonderful staff!
hospitality and empathetic staff. Really enjoyed the engagement with the receptionists.
all great
