The hotel is very comfy, very clean and well located. Enjoyed the gym and the lounge. A very good choice to get around the city.
We were in the city for only one night, and the Hyatt Regency SoMa was perfect for us. Digital check-in worked like a charm--we didn't have to go to the front desk at all. Our room was on the 18th floor with a nice view of the city; it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel's location is close to Yerba Buena Gardens, shopping, and a wide range of food options. We loved that we could walk to dinner rather than move the car and deal with traffic. We parked at the garage across from the hotel; it was half the cost of the hotel's valet parking, which was a good deal for us since we didn't need in-and-out privileges on this trip.

Beautiful property with good facilities in an amazing location.
My only gripe would be the “destination fee” which feels like a forced tax. I guess at least we didn’t have to tip as a result of it.
The staff in the marketplace felt a bit rude and abrupt at times, especially the elder man in the evenings.
We've stayed here before and choose this location again because of the Hotel, Staff and Location to Oracle Park. We went to see Noah Kahan for my wife's birthday and stayed for the weekend. This location always provides the best visits to the city and we look forward to coming back soon!

Had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA. The club lounge was a highlight—comfortable, convenient, and a nice perk during the stay. I’d love to see a little more variety in the snack options, with different choices rotated throughout the week. It would also be a nice touch to include one complimentary alcoholic drink per guest during the afternoon small bites.
The elevators were impressively fast, and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Another big plus was the parking option directly across the street, which was about half the price of the hotel parking and included in-and-out privileges. Location is great for doing the touristy things.
Overall, a very pleasant stay with a great location and friendly service. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in San Francisco!
