An island of calm comfort in a busy area of Manhattan
Pros:

I liked the size of studio, really spacious for Manhattan. Also, it was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very polite and helpful - we were able to leave our bags for a few hours both on our arrival and departure days. Also, breakfast area was managed very well - no crowds, and it did not feel overwhelmed, like often happens in NY hotels.

Cons:

Breakfast choices were limited but overall breakfast was OK.

Pros:

good location. good breakfast

Cons:

Deceiving pictures of rooms. Room I got was significantly different than what I requested, which made the trip uncomfortable for myself and my family. Hotel was not williing to accomodate changes to address this. Booking,com was useless.

Remodeled, clean, updated facility. Staff was very professional.

Cons:

There was a rumbling sound all night. It sounded like HVAC equipment. Impacted our sleep. Only reason I didn't rate the facilities "exceptional".

Great location, clean, modern. Very friendly staff and breakfast and work out room was bonus.
Pros:

love the kitchenette and ability to bring food and drink to use during stay. Breakfast was good, area clean and staff were so kind especially Carlos. Check in staff were friendly and kind. The infused water in lobby were a treat after a day of walking.

Cons:

Beds were a little hard to sleep upon.

I later on enjoyed my stay but that will be the first and last stay at any Marriott!
Pros:

Nice large rooms that are clean with a kitchen where we couks cook our own meals!
Staff working at breakfast especially Carlos was amazing.

Cons:

The behavior of front desk staff! They seemed mean to us when we arrived- asking us to prove that we booked the room….even after providing them with the welcome email they sent us! We arrived late in the night and had kids that were extremely tired, but they kept us for such a long time seeming to question whether we actually could afford to stay in their hotel! That was mean!

Good home base for tourists

Amazing staff! Carlos and Claudia in the restaurant provided a wonderful breakfast.. we have stayed there before they remember us and treated us like old friends. Their warmth and genuine caring is deeply heartfelt the food delicious with helpful options. Claudia the front desk manager is the ultimate professional! Always remembering us. This is truly our home away from home!

A great stay!
Pros:

We enjoyed an extended stay at Residence Inn and found the experience to be very comfortable. The front desk staff were always friendly, patient, and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed with good lighting and responsive climate controls. The breakfasts were quite tasty with fresh choices and good coffee! The breakfast staff was cheerful, attentive, and accommodating. We love Claudia and Carlos. They are endearing and genuine-welcoming us every morning to breakfast. It was a great stay. We will definitely return and recommend this Residence Inn. A more secure WiFi connection would be most helpful. Thank you Residence Inn!
