Residence Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan/ Midtown Eastside

We had a wonderful stay! A special thank you to Carlos and Claudia in the breakfast restaurant for their outstanding service and warm hospitality. They made each morning a great experience. We’d also like to recognize John, who was incredibly helpful during check-in and made the arrival process smooth and welcoming. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Wonderful stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Manhattan/Midtown! Every member of the staff was welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely friendly. A special thank you to Carlos and Claudia, who worked the breakfast service each morning. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and a pleasure to chat with—such a wonderful way to start each day. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend!

We still have 2 more nights but are delighted with the hotel stay. The staff are very kind and helpful, the breakfasts are delicious and varied and the location is convenient for train travellers. Great value for families with takeaway boxes at breakfast. The breakfast staff is exceptional and Claudia and Carlos have been a highlight every morning.

I am writing this review to help hotel management take decisive action to improve housekeeping. I am leaving this feedback here because the front desk didn't seem to take my note seriously. When staying at a major brand like Marriott in NYC, guests rightly expect clean bedsheets. Unfortunately, the housekeeper placed a bedsheet with red spots at the foot of the bed, seemingly hoping guests wouldn't notice. Attached is a photo of the sheet that I found right before check-out.

On a positive note, the hotel has great customer service—the staff was very accommodating and welcoming. The location is excellent, and the breakfast was well-balanced

Carlos and Claudia were incredible, they anticipated our needs, helped with the children, and made our stay a real treasure.

Location is perfect! Close to subways and tourist attractions.

From bellman to front desk, the staffs were polite and attentive to our needs. They do their work asap.

Our room was spacious, clean and amenities were provided.

Special mention to waiters Carlos and Claudia. They always welcomed us to the breakfast area. Kept every table clean and ready to use.

A great apartment style suite. I went with my wife and our three teenagers. It was quiet with very little road noise. Comfortable beds, efficient use of space, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is fantastic. Claudia and Carlos on the breakfast staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t think twice about staying here again. Great location for a tourist trip, easy to walk to sites in midtown and close to the subway.

All was well but I especially appreciated the kindness and rapidity of two members of the breakfast staff - Claudia and Carlos. I hope to see them again on my next visit.

We enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn Midtown East for our 2 week holiday in NYC. We particularly enjoyed the generous daily breakfast buffet at the hotel. Carlos, our breakfast server greeted us daily, cleared our table quickly, and talked with us in a friendly manner. We remembered Carlos from our long stay at this hotel just last year. Thanks, Carlos, for your upbeat friendly conversations and your help with our breakfast. We hope to see you again on our next visit! Hotel is in an excellent location and has several awesome Indian restaurants within walking distance.

Great customer service during breakfast by entire staff during our week stay. Did not get the name of gentleman that helps clear off tables but he was wonderful. Claudia was also great on our last morning

Claudia was an amazing and thoughtful server and made my family’s trip extremely easy!

Our expérience was perfect
The room was nice, clean and the kitchen facilities were perfect for us . The bed was big and very confortable. and many thanks to Carlos and Claudia who were very very very nice and kind every day at breakfast ! We were pleased to meet them.
