Good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
I picked this hotel because it had a swimming pool. But it was in the middle of the restaurant and it couldn’t fit loungers around it - it was so small! So I didn’t bother swimming. Also the gym was pretty small as well.
The location for this property is perfect, walking distance of everything and a parking deck immediately beside the property (we rented a car). The amenities were perfect, with a ice and water dispenser on every floor which came in handy! Room was breathtaking, so much greenery visible it made it feel more natural and not city crowded! Bar on site was delicious, we even got a voucher for free drinks!
Nothing!
le Meridien Nice was an excellent choice for first time visitors to Nice, located across the street from the Promenade des Anglais and the Mediterranean, and a short walk to Vieux Nice. The breakfast buffet was in a room overlooking the Promenade and the Sea. Housekeeping was top notch - Nilu and the other housekeepers kept our room refreshed daily and did an outstanding job.
Our stay in Nice has been lovely! Great hotel. Conveniently located in walking distance to many restaurants and shopping, and also the beach. Beautiful location!
Nilu, our housekeeper was fantastic… so friendly and a very hard worker. She made our stay even more enjoyable.
Fantastic location.
Staff 10/10
Pool seating a bit cramped
Great hotel in a fabulous vacation overlooking the promenade and the ocean. A bit of an odd layout in the room - bed faced a fall instead of the doors to the ocean and there was a door stop in the middle of the room - tripping hazard that we used an ice bucket overtop to avoid injury. The bathroom is gorgeous. Buffet breakfast was outstanding.
Great service - special shoutout to our room attendant, Goar.
Everything was great.our room was very clean. Goar offered us great cleaning services
Great view from the room. Check out person was prompt in discovering mistakes in the bill and fixing them. One of the rooms was available for early check in.
Room service was a joke - the food was simply the cold food anyone can pick up from the lobby fridge and they charge an extra 5 EUR to deliver it. They kept getting the order wrong, forgot cutlery, napkins, and had to be called multiple times to fix these issues.
Breakfast was below average - the fruits were too ripe for example.
The bathroom door did not close properly. There was also mold on the bathroom walls.
The pillows were a bit too soft.
Every hotel in Nice is expensive, but the room tariffs are still way too high for the service and class of the hotel.
For me, the Le Meridien is the best hotel in Nice. The facilities of hotel are a bit dated, but the staff and their service are among the very best, from front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant, they are all most friendly, helpful and professional! This is our 3rd time staying in the hotel, and as always, we fully enjoyed our stay! Thank you Goar (housekeeping) for your kindness and hospitality. You truly made made our stay felt like starting at home :-)! Also, many thanks to the reception and breakfast staffs. Thank you for making our stay totally enjoyable!
The AC is not what we expected…they don’t cool like ours in US. But the rooms were very nice and clean!! Housekeeper, Goar, was exceptionally friendly and kept us stocked with fresh water! The views were amazing from the top floor

The Location
Its Old, Badly Maintained, Dirty
The hotel has a wonderful location with great views of the ocean.
Great service, welcoming staff, clean, helpful and close to everything
The view and location were the best features. The decor was modern and stylish and the floor to ceiling windows offered a great view.
The room amenities were those expected in a 2-star hotel. The furniture was too small and did not offer the space needed. The water pressure was completely inadequate, expecially for a hotel of this price.
When selecting the deluxe room stated there was a king and a twin bed. The twin bed was not a bed it was a rollaway placed in front of the balcony door.
Staff was great, we arrived very late and the guy at the front desk was very helpful.
Breakfast was the best we had on our whole two week trip.
Sleeping on a rollaway bed, not very comfortable.
