This is a 5 star clean and quiet property! The beds were super comfy! The location was beautiful and close to a few restaurants. If you need to walk.
There is no breakfast here. If they served coffee, juice and muffins, that would be nice! Also there's no pool.
Quaint cozy hotel. Very walkable to enjoy Main Street. Loved that they had puzzles and chess available and even made us fresh coffee in the afternoon while enjoying them!
Such a great place! Staff were amazing and so accommodating! Hotel was very clean and welcoming. Would absolutely go back!
Very nice and quiet lobby and patio.

Went to Trailborn as a second choice, but it turned out great! Perfect hotel for outdoor Highlands. Very nice staff who are eager to assist with any questions or requests. Highly recommend Trailborn Bonvoy!!
Close to Main Street
Carpet on floor, dated bathroom, bedside tables too close and high to bed. Hit my head and my arm during sleep
Location
No breakfast offered.
This hotel was ok and location is decent but not what I would call boutique. It was my third choice as the others weren't available. I reserved the suite for a 4 night girls' trip and was disappointed. The bathroom is woefully sub-par and felt one CALL button away from a hospital room bathroom. Vents were dirty. Kitchenette floor was sticky and our coffee was not refilled after the first night (they were out?). The common areas were nice and the staff was friendly. Maybe people with dogs like this hotel because it's hard to find a place to take dogs. I would refer friends who travel with dogs to this hotel.
Stayed here for our 49th wedding anniversary. Hotel was clean, comfortable. Staff was very nice. Hotel location was close to downtown. More upscale than a regular chain property. Could do a little better on afternoon social, but that really wasn't a big deal. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent location and amenities at this beautiful hotel! Rooms are chic and cute, large king beds with modern luxury, gives you a feel of a boutique hotel. Wound insulation was excellent, so was the hot water pressure. Dual access for lower bedrooms to the parking lot and the hallway was very convenient. Fire pits were a nice added touch.
Amazing hotel in Highlands! Walkable to Main Street, fabulous restaurant onsite (best in the highlands), clean and spacious rooms, plus the friendliest staff! Top hotel in the area - we loved our stay and can't wait to come back.
Very Clean
Was not treated like a valued customer. Room wasn't ready at 4:00 check in time. Request for early check in (1 Hour) denied.
Had more than normal wait at check in and check out. Limited staff.
We had a wonderful stay. The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful and super helpful in making suggestions about what to do and where to stay. My husband used the sauna and absolutely love it. We also had a tent for indoor “camping” for our daughter. It was such a great experience, we would definitely stay here again!
Nice location, comfortable beds and pillows, decorated well. Liked the electric water kettle in room. Tasty fresh made bread for breakfast. Convenient snack and drink shop in the lobby.
There were no towel hooks in the bathroom wall or door other than on the shower door handle. Our room did not have any closets to hang up jackets but there were several hangers on a nice wall bracket.
This hotel is a very good choice if you have to stay in Highlands. Is comfortable and cozy to enjoy day and night in the forest. Perfectly recomendable.
Excellent!! We ended up extending our stay an additional night after such a warm welcome and wonderful first impressions.
The front desk staff was incredible—so welcoming, informative, and genuinely friendly. We booked last minute, and I always look for Marriott options in the area, so I was excited to find Trailborn in the Highlands.
The vibe is fantastic, and the furnishings (literally floor to ceiling) are so thoughtfully done. We stayed in a room with a fireplace the first night and a balcony the second night—both were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed.
The market was also really nice with a great selection. The best part, though, was the Nordic sauna—such a cool experience. And the coffee and banana bread in the morning was the cherry on top.
We’ll absolutely be back soon!
