Flor was fantastic! She cooked my omelette to perfectionnnnn and was so sweet and kind.
This hotel is perfect for students groups visiting DC on their 8th grade trip. The atrium makes it easy to keep an eye out for any students trying to sneak out of their room, and the breakfast is large and varied enough for picky eaters. Our teachers and chaperones especially loved the omelette station in the morning and the bar in the evening.
Lourd did a fantastic job taking care of the group of students I brought with me. He definitely went above and beyond to help organize a rooming list for all 38 rooms we booked by our individual students. When there was an issue, he called to let us know it had been fixed.
Can’t wait to stay at this property and work with him again on another student tour.
This is the second time I coordinated a large group staying at this location and yet again we had a wonderful experience. Despite the complications of bitter cold and far above normal snow and ice we had a great stay and would recommend it without hesitation to groups coming into the DC area, for business or vacation travel. We were particularly impressed by the attentiveness of the hotel's management (Julie, Hira) to our needs in securing the reservation and supporting our requests for support. The front desk staff was invariably efficient, professional and friendly - important for a group like ours with many visiting the area for the first time and for whom English is not their first language. Thanks to Ashleigh and Chelsea especially but all of the staff at all hours were great. The managers' reception was a big hit for our group and we took advantage of it to socialize and relax after the work schedule each day - well done to Heber and Betty in particular for being attentive behind the bar even on busier days. The breakfast is a big hit and a big help because even for those of our group that were not early risers there was time to get in and get something hot and filling in a short time. I particularly loved the omelette station and the staff working there were great. Housekeeping was attentive and our rooms were well kept and in good shape, thanks especially to Andrea and her staff for their attention to detail and responsiveness. This hotel will be on top of my list whenever my business needs to bring another group to the area - great teamwork and great location. Excellent value for money, friendly atmosphere and clean, comfortable suites. Nice work folks.
We booked direct and followed the steps to get the confirmed connecting rooms. All confirmations indicated that it was confirmed. However, at check in we weren't given connecting rooms. It did get sorted out but that aspect was what had us choose the Hilton brand vs a different brand for this trip.
The staff was helpful though they really should hire more front desk help as the lines got very long at times.
The rooms we had definitely need a deep clean all around. The parts the average person interacts with are fine cleanliness wise but you could see stains, dust and dirt in all sorts of places (walls, headboard, bathroom doors and other random spots). A room by room spring clean would do wonders for the hotel.
The road outside of the hotel is big and busy! Think about where you plan to go if you have a car because getting out of the hotel and immediately needing to make a left will be a challenge at most times of the day (several lanes you need to quickly make it across).
Breakfast was perfectly fine and well run.
Happy hour staff was great. Snacks on our visit was chips and salsa or popcorn.
Now, for a bummer- the pool was closed but we had not received any communication about that ahead of our trip. If you are booking this hotel for the pool then I recommend calling ahead to confirm that it will be in operation for your visit.
Front desk service top tier. All very welcoming especially Ms. Cali who checked our group in. Ensured all of our questions were answered and was very helpful throughout.
My experience at the bar was amazing! Betty is the best bartender ever! She was very kind and had the best energy! My husband and I had a great time and will stay at this hotel everytime we are in the area just because of Betty! We love her!
Breakfast
The taps were falling apart
The pull put bed in living room pulled put right at the table. NO walk space once you pull out the sleep sofa bed... So, when someone came in they would/did have to step on the bed to get to the room or bathroom... Not good at all. That was crowded comfort... in the pull out bed was a lil bottle of water. In the bedroom was trash under the bed from previous stay goer.
Everything.
The only issue we had was the central air didn’t circulate properly through the bedroom. It was either too hot and we had to crack a window or it got too cold.
Loved breakfast and the cleanliness of room and hotel.
Staff should have told me about the parking fees at check in.
Happy hour was not long enough
She was the best person I've ever met. The service was quick and professional. The burger was amazing and the room was mediorce
Betty is the best we love her please give her a raise!!!
