WE ALWAYS LIKE THE HAPPY HOUR WITH FOOD AND OF COURSE THEIR BREAKFEAST

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME IN MANY MANY YEARS THAT WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS HOTEL THAT THE POOL WAS OUT OF ORDER,,, :( BUT THE GENTLEMEN WORKING THE FRONT SENT US TO A PARTNERING HOTEL WHERE ARE GRANDKIDS GOT TO SWIM... THAT WAS VERY NICE OF HIM TO DO!!

Would stay again!
Pros:

Big rooms, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, bar and afternoon snack. Property was pretty and we loved the location of our room to everything.

Cons:

Pool was down and that is one of the reasons we booked there. Also, room had a musty smell and some rips in the carpet.

The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

The hot breakfast was typical of a hotel breakfast, the fruit was not as fresh as I would have preferred. The bath room was tight quarters. The carpet felt ancient. Furniture leather was cracking or torn.

If the pool was not functional then that should have been disclosed..its not fair to go down the street to use the neighboring hotel..it should have been disclosed

It was pleasant but just seems we can do better on the maintenance department.
Pros:

The breakfast was good as always. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

We stay at the Embassy a few times throughout the year, and it just seems like every time we stay, something is second-class. Not terrible, but not what we've come to expect from the Embassy or what we've experienced over the years. Think the maintenance department needs to step it up and make sure all these small things don't get out of hand.
