Very pleasant and enjoyable stay
Pros:

Enjoyable 4-nights stay with our family. Amenities were excellent, staff was friendly, rooms were clean and Handlery is perfectly located next to Union Square and in walking distance from China Town. Unfortunately no breakfast facilities instead we receveid a daily breakfast box for each family member including fresh juice, yoghurt and yummy snack. A walking hike early in the morning is also doable for a visit to Fisherman's Warff and Lombard street. We would not mind staying at the Handlery Union Suare Hotel again; overall very pleasant experience.

Older hotel in the middle of the city with very friendly and helpful staff

Perfect Stay for SF - perfect location
Pros:

The hotel is right in the heart of Union Square and within walking distance of many attractions. Those arriving by car can either use the hotel's valet service (for a higher fee) or safely park in one of the many 24/7 car parks nearby. Our room was very spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel and rooms needed renovation, so we had a heating problem in our room, but the technical team immediately helped by providing an extra heating device.

Nice hotel in a great location
Pros:

This hotel is in a great location to explore San Francisco. We stayed three nights here on a room only basis. Room is spacious. Staff friendly. Within the room there is a safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and a television.

We had an issue with our toilet whereby it blocked and flooded the bathroom floor. We called reception who came and resolved the issue swiftly.

We would stay here again.

Kalınan süre içerisinde bir su parasını hesap ederek kar edileceğini düşünen zihniyeti eleştiriyorum.
Banyoda biten şampuan kutusunu rutin kontrol etmeyen bir hizmet anlayışı var. Otele girildikten sonra boş olan kutuyu illaha müşterinin mi hatırlatması lazım. Her temizlikte ya da her müşteri çıkış yaptığı zaman kontrol edilmesi gerekmiyor mu?
Odadaki kasanın kilidi kurulmuş ancak açık şekilde bırakılması ve bunun kalınan süre içinde hiç kontrol edilmemesi oranın da kullanılmasını mümkün kılmadı.

Can't beat the location--gateway to the pulse of SF!
Pros:

I can't think of a better place to say in downtown San Francisco. The location is absolutely perfect--very central to Union Square--and a minute's walk from fantastic shopping. I went with my 12-year-old granddaughter, and we were delighted with the accommodations. It was just two blocks from the starting point for the Powell-Mason Cable Car Line. They also have a pristine swimming pool and outdoor fresh-air patio. It was a little too cool while we were there, but it would be an attractive option for families. The staff was very efficient and friendly, steering us to places to eat, how to get from point A to point B, and suggesting great things to do.

Everything was perfection. Location, next to the main square, cable car station and many dinners. Staff was amazing and great thank you to our concierge Judy for organizing our trip and all the great tips!
