Pros:

Convenient location, room was clean. The bed was comfortable, just a bit firm for me but I still slept well. We were in the historic building with an interior facing room which was quiet. The shampoo dispenser was empty when we arrived, but when we called the next morning housekeeping took care of it immediately. The front of house staff were friendly and helpful.

The cable car turnaround and streetcars are within walking distance. The hotel is probably better suited to adults and families with teenagers.

Cons:

There's no restaurant or coffee shop in the hotel. It would be nice if there was a small cafe for grab and go items such as sandwiches and snacks. If you're on a strict budget your food options are limited. Since the hotel is in Union Square most of the restaurants will be on the pricey side but you can find something affordable if you're willing to look.

For perspective, we went out to eat by the hotel three times. Two of the meals were around $100 including tip, one alcoholic drink for myself and one non-alcoholic for my (14 yo) daughter. One was a late breakfast the other was dinner (ramen) and it was just the two of us.

Pros:

La ubicación estaba excelente, cerca a todo aunque igual San Francisco en realidad es una ciudad que se puede caminar y mas aún que se debe hacer. Las instalaciones en términos generales esta okey. Nada del otro mundo pero cumple con su cometido y sirve para pasar la noche.

Cons:

La verdad aunque fue informado que la habitación tenia un olor algo fuerte, bueno en realidad ambas habitaciones situación que fue comunicada y al momento de retirarnos del hotel el personal que se le comunico se limito a decir de manera algo grosera que nos habían ofrecido un cambio de habitación sin mas, no esperábamos nada del otro mundo, pero la actitud fue verdaderamente grosera. Espero que esto cambie y tengan mas cuidado con el mantenimiento de sus instalaciones y los olores.
