Pros:

L’emplacement de l’hôtel tout proche des transports en commun, chambres confortables, le personnel très gentil.

Cons:

Chambres un peu petites et notamment la salle de bain (lavabo à l’extérieur de la salle de bain dans la chambre)

Room was clean except one day the housekeeper was reluctant to change my beddings, and that was 3 days after check in.

Gute Lage am Uniosquare und Powellstr
Gut zu Fuss ins Financial District oder Hafen

Cons:

Sehr laute Strasse, einfaches kleines Bad
Achtung Abends die Strassen westlich des Hotels sind durch Drogenabhängige und Obdachlosen „besetzt“
Richtung Powellsteet und Unionplatz alles ok und sicher

Great location.
Pros:

Location was A+. Night recepionist was very friendly and helpful, so was the one when we checked out.

Cons:

The Bail peson one particular was not courteous. Felt a bit racist as he was talking nicely to another group but when it was our turn he was very rude.

Good location but below expectation
Pros:

Excellent location. It is very easy to get to and from the airport, even with luggage, as you can walk through the station and exit just one block from the hotel. The internet connection worked well throughout my stay, and the front desk staff were always friendly, professional, and helpful.

Cons:

The room had several issues that significantly affected the experience. The carpet had a noticeable unpleasant smell, the ceiling was very low, and the ventilation system was both noisy and ineffective. Soundproofing is extremely poor, making it possible to hear virtually everything from neighboring rooms, including guests in adjacent and upper-floor rooms. Housekeeping also appeared superficial. There was a spider web with a spider on the window, as well as visible dirt and dust accumulation in corners of the room.

Great value for money: a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location
Pros:

The Handlery Hotel in San Francisco was perfect for a three night stay in the city following a business trip. It was beautifully decorated and immediately gave me confidence as I stepped in that I would enjoy my stay. It's position was perfect for accessing Union Square, walking to the Bay Area and enjoying the cable cars. It was also a quick walk from the BART station.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. My room was clean and spacious, with attention to detail by the cleaning staff, such as replacing the herbal tea bags that I used, so I would always have the flavour that I liked.
The highlight of my stay was the wonderful outdoor swimming pool, which was kept at a perfect temperature and was immaculately clean. The gym was also spacious and well equipped.
Will definitely be back the next time I visit the city.
