DoubleTree by Hilton London - Hyde Park

Otel Hilton grubunda olduğu için daha iyi bir servis bekledik. Temizlik çok zayıftı, oda toz içinde olmasına rağmen doğru dürüst süpürülmedi, rica ettik yapacağı dediler yapmadılar. Kendim ıslak mendille yerleri silmek zorunda kaldım. Alerjik Astım hastayım, toza karşı alerjim var maalesef. Perde kornişten çıkmıştı 11 gün tamir etmediler, ücretsiz su, bazı sabahlar konuyor bazı sabahlar konmuyordu istediğimizde ise bir görevli para almak zorundayım dedi, başka bir görevli ücretsiz almamızı sağladı. Personel elinden geleni yapmaya çalışıyor gibi ama genel olarak servisi zayıf bir otel.

After waiting to check into our hotel room 505, we walked through the door and the toilet was almost overflowing with water coming up
To the rim. We had to leave the property for a burial asap so after leaving I’d asked via text messages for the matter to be revolved and was told that a member of the maintenance team would come up to the room to resolve this issue whilst we were out. However when arriving back To the hotel room several hours later no progress had been made and the bathroom toilet was still completely backed up with water and toilet paper even tho non of us in the room had used the toilet itself! Rather disgusting really. Me and the other members of my party had decided to go to sleep and if we needed the loo just to use the downstairs lobby bathroom. Which was a major inconvenience! The morning after one
Member of my party had used the shower and again the water was flooding out of the shower basin making the floor wet. When I’d notified gul at reception the morning after, I’d shown her the messsges between me and the lady id been messaging about the matter she’d offered me 2 free drinks at the bar and was told that the matter would be “fixed for me” after I’d explained that we weren’t able to stick around because we had a 4 and a half hour car journey back home. And haven’t heard anything back since! After staying here before and not having these issues it really stuck out to me. Very dissatisfied for a chain hotel of this calibre.

When I checked into the hotel I was told the room wasn’t ready but it was under priority clean and would be notified when it was ready I was then told it was ready and could go up when I entered the room it had not been cleaned and was in quite a disarray I tried calling reception via the phone in the room but the line was dead, I went down and explained and was told someone would come clean I was heading out for the day when I returned that evening most of it had been cleaned but it still wasn’t upto standards, the toilet did not work as once flushed water just kept flowing so could not sleep with the noice I later found out there was more than just my room with toilet issues some rooms had to be blocked off after check out, the a/c could not be used as when turned on the most extreme foul smells came from the vents so I can only assume that the vents have not been cleaned in quite some time which also was an ongoing issue with other guests all in all I cannot say I enjoyed my stay

Rooms are tired, needs some maintenance and TLC. Food poor.

Air con was a bit noisy, turned it off.

On the pricey side, due to location I expect. Nice place, helpful staff, overall very good but not extraordinary.

The bathroom needs updating.
