Great people, great location, great balcony and of course great cookies!!
Pros:

Location right across from Hyde Park was great. So easy to walk everywhere. And the front desk staff was awesome. First Doubletree we’ve ever stayed at that was generous with their cookies (love them!). Having a balcony was so nice as well, especially with the nice weather we had.

Cons:

There strangely wasn’t any phone in the room (or at least none we could find), so we had to go down to the front desk to ask for anything (though that was an excuse to ask for another cookie!). Not a big deal.

Inconvenient location for my needs. Would have liked to be more central.
Pros:

Breakfast excellent.

Cons:

Beds were lovely. Room was noisy as it was facing back lane with loading and unloading vehicles. No view and no opportunity to upgrade with twin rooms. Out of lift had to lug bags up stairs to mezzanine level to our room.

Lovely Stay at Deluxe King Room With Balcony
Pros:

Location is very accessible nearby to all the hotspots. 5mins walk to portobello market more lively during weekends. Staff are friendly and approachable. Complimentary cookies and drinks given out. Cafe at lobby is so convenient.Room is clean with daily housekeeping. Perfect accommodation for our family of 3.

Overall enjoyed the hotel and would stay there again
Pros:

Nice restaurant, pleasant and airy location

Cons:

Although there was a good variety of food at breakfast, after 5 days we were a bit fed up with exactly the same food every day.
Tables not always wiped and re-laid with cutlery in between guests.

It was a comfortable bed

Cons:

I am diabetic and the hotel refused to refrigerate my insulin for me, even we arrived at 7.00am and could not check in until 3.00pm. I had travelled for 24 hours with my insulin in a cool pack but by 7.00am it required refrigeration. A very poor policy.

Amazing rooms with great view
Pros:

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this DoubleTree. From the second I walked in, the staff were amazing—friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive to every detail. It’s rare to find a team that makes you feel so welcome!
The rooms were wonderful as well: modern, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. It was the perfect environment to relax in. Everything from the check-in process to the room quality exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be staying here again!

I had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton. They truly made my graduation trip special! The staff were absolutely amazing—so welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived.
The rooms were wonderful as well: clean, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after the graduation festivities. Of course, the signature warm cookie at check-in was the cherry on top! I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone celebrating a special occasion. Thank you for making my big day even better!
