Blue Way Inn Eagan Extended Stay

They need to update their info online because they do NOT have a pool or spa. Rooms need to be updated. Bread and plain cereal was the only breakfast options. I left behind my portable charger. ($150) Called them 2 hours after i left and they told me they didnt find anything in my room.... otherwise, the room was bigger than i expected. Especially for the price. I got the hot tub suite. Hot tub worked better than many other hotels' do. Room had a dining area, mini kitchen with counters and many cupboards. A full size fridge/freezer that works! Had its own sperate bedroom from the living room. Tvs in both rooms but barely worked. The bedroom even had its own sink and counter top! The room had a bit of a muggy smell to it. But overall the room was pretty decent. More than what i was expecting. Everything outside the room, ALL needs some more work and managment put into making customers feel more welcome amd comfortable.

The staff are EXCELLENT! It is a safe area and I love this location.

Room was infested with roaches. Roaches was everywhere and falling down from the ceiling very nasty.

The room was gross. Totally disgusted with this facility. There is no elevator. Got to the room, the additional security lock bar was busted off. The ice machine in the hallway did not work, some of the lamps did not work. In the nightstand was leftover food from Dairy Queen. The other nightstand had some nasty used for whatever personal wipes on it.

There was a road construction crew staying there longterm and they were grilling and drinking outside, and the smell of pot being smoked.

The side door didn't have a security lock on it, so anyone could have wondered in to the side entrance.

The phones in the room were from a hotel in Ohio so if you needed to call 911, it had the wrong name of hotel, address, and room number.

Learn from my mistake, don't let the pictures used for advertisement fool you. Don't stay here.

Someone came in My room and stole 5 phone chargers and a pack of sponge's. I will never stay at this place or any properties owned by this place. I have to clean the bathroom and the sink was clogged. The worst place I ever stayed.

The staff was rude and the hot tub jets were broken

My recent stay at Blue Way Inn in Eagan was the worst experience I have had in over 20 years of traveling and using Hotels.com.

Upon entering the room, I discovered it was filthy and infested with roaches. There were dozens in the kitchen area and dozens more in the bathroom, including the tub. (Please see attached photos.) Because of this, it was impossible for me to remain in the room. Unfortunately, I only noticed the infestation late at night when I went to the kitchen to get water, at which point it was clear the room was not habitable.

The next morning, I returned to the front desk to report the issue and return the keys. The staff member told me there was nothing she could do and provided me with the number 651-314-1207 to contact “Jasper.” When I called, I was told again that nothing could be done and that the front desk should handle it. This unacceptable back-and-forth left me without any support or solution.

Because of these conditions, I had no choice but to immediately secure alternative lodging at an additional cost to me. I am therefore requesting the following:

A full refund of my booking amount.

An additional $200 reimbursement for the cost of the room I had to book across the street.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate my complaint, including bringing this to the attention of the City of Eagan Health Department, as the conditions in this hotel pose serious he

Nothing

The property already had garbage stacked at every door when we arrived. Then walked into a dirty room, floors were flithy, walls dirty and fridge was nasty. Then to top it off woke up to roaches in the room. Will not be stay here again and do not recommend.

Whirlpool tub

Checked in ∧ checked out 30 minutes later. The air conditioning wasn’t plugged in, the smoke detector wasn’t in place. Front Desk person check on all of this. Put the smoke detector up and it started beeping after he left - needed batteries. Windows on 1st floor were out of their tracks. We left and found another place to stay.
We’d like a total refund. They said to contact Expedia since we booked through you.
You obviously have my name and email. Contact me ASAP re: a refund. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Very clean with warm hospitality

The day of my stay tv wasn't working holes and so much damage in the room. It smelled like cigarettes and weed. Plus, anytime I went downstairs to ask for anything the lady with the unibrow always super rude, attitude seemed to be with only me because I’m literally waiting my turn to get a new card because my card stopped working she was very nice to the white lady and so crosses with me anytime I asked a question or wondered why room service never came and cleaned the room. Mind you I still never got my $100 back from my deposit. Me and my family were visiting from Illinois for a week. Very sad to find roaches bedbugs in our room will never be staying here again.

The room I checked into had a lot of roaches.. the air didn’t work and the carpet was nasty.. not a good place to stay if you’re traveling.

Property was not clean.
Key cards did not consistently work. We were assigned a room that wasn't clean. Difficult to regulate room temperature. Would never go back or recommend for other people.

It was a quiet, clean building.... however the shower in my room 149 the faucet needed some attention-(it was loose) and no hot water?!
