Very clean and comfortable hotel. We stayed there at a last minute. It was not a mistake. We will go there again in the future.
Staff was very nice. I had a late check in and they checked me in early and was very kind rooms were clean great place to say.

The rooms and facility itself was extremely clean and looked well taken care of. I had no issues at arrival and was greeted by 2 lovely ladies who were kind, patient, polite and professional. Thank you for making the stay so enjoyable!
The door to the bathroom was faulty. As a result, I got stuck in the bathroom for about one hour and a half as a claustrophobic person and a senior citizen. When I notified the front desk they informed me that maintenance would be sent up after my departure. Extremely dissatisfied with my stay. What else is a senior citizen to do I get so helpless

Staffs are nice and efficient. Rooms is clean and nice bedding. Definitely will be my first choice next time visit to Windsor.
Unfortunately not what we were expecting from a brand name hotel such as Holiday Inn
Upon checking in we were told that the pool and hot tub were in working order. The next morning when we tried to use them we saw that the hot tub was out of service and the water in the pool was freezing. When we asked the concierge on duty they told us that the hot tub was decommissioned and wouldn’t be reopened and that the water was at a proper temperature. The hallways had a strange, musty smell. The room was decently sized and the bed comfortable with enough pillows. It was relatively clean but a little dusty. What was most upsetting was that we booked this hotel because of the pool and hot tub and weren’t able to use either. They are listed on the Expedia website and there was no notification of any issues when I received a notice from the hotel before checking in.
My boyfriend and I were excited for this booking. We wanted to get out of the states for a little get away and we're excited for the included breakfast and pool/hot tub. When we got there everything seemed okay until it wasn't. When we headed down for breakfast in the morning we were very confused since the whole dining room was pitch black and empty when there was a sign that said "breakfast everyday from 6:30-9:30am" and we got there around 8am. We looked around for a while and there was nothing, and by the time we went to the front desk to ask it was past 9:30. The worker said we were supposed to order from the restaurant. It wasn't stated anywhere that we had to do that so that was very frustrating. Then the same day we went to check out the pool. We were so excited for the pool and hot tub so we could relax. Then when we go to the pool there was caution tape everywhere and the pool was out of service. Which again was very frustrating since we came all the way to Windsor for these things. Then the next morning we woke up and we were sweating to death. The window AC unit was on full blast and it felt like nothing was coming out. We looked at the thermostat on the wall and it said "FAIL" we went and talked to the front desk to see if we could do anything and they said they just installed the wireless thermostats and that the window unit was all we had. My boyfriend and I were so excited for this trip and were very disappointed.
The website offered a pool and hot tub. And they assured us both would be in working order when we checked in. Actual Facts: The pool was freezing and hot tub was not only not working, it was closed permanently! When I checked out, I asked for a refund and they told me they couldn’t do that! I can’t believe Holiday Inn allows its name to be associated with that establishment!
They didn’t give us room as per confirmation there was only one bed instead of two and we had problems adjusting specially with 2 kids and 2 adults
Very bad experience
The experience was bad. The pool heater was broke, lack of staff, first room was dirty so we had to ask for another, we literally had to ask for everything that wouldn't been expected.
I prepaid for the breakfast online and was seriousness let down. When I got to the restaurant another guest told me "good luck they are seriously understaffed". When we arrived at the buffet there were no plates, silverware, eggs, or sausage. If felt like the sausage and potatoes were precooked and dried out.
Lastly, the shampoo and conditioner was not new! This hotel does was operating like a cheap family run motel.
Overall our stay was good. The bed was so very comfortable. The dressers are worn and older and we did not get coffee cups in our room.
