A beautiful and easy stay, family friendly.
Pros:

The location was easy to get to and quiet. Dinner and drinks right at the hotel restaurant was pleasant. Cold ac in the rooms was fabulous.

Cons:

The tv channels were mostly flickering if they came in at all. The breakfast was hectic with a crush of people and only one waitress which left a long wait time.

Parked under the trees in disabled bay car was a mess with stuff off the trees and bird poo had to go and have it washed

Second visit to Gamston Lock
Pros:

Great location for the purpose of visiting family . Easy to get to from motorway links. Lots of parking which was free. The room was ideal for the two of us. If we needed anything further staff were available to ask . Breakfast was good . Service was very good too.

Cons:

For this trip it was ideal Nothing to add.

The location! So central I love it! Love the fact that the pub is on site too so you don’t have to wander far for food and drink! The staff are so good! Always helpful
And friendly!

Room needed some work doing to it as shower was leaking and was lukewarm at best
Lots of dust on clothes rack, found this out when we put fresh clothes on

Convenient for National Watersports Centre
Pros:

Very close to National Water Sports Centre, which is 5 minute drive. Good for a one night stay when competing in the Outlaw triathlon the following day.

Cons:

TV didn’t work, Wi-Fi patchy, door handle to bathroom hanging off.
