Beautiful hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. Staff were very helpful and polite, and I loved how many older features have been retained. Grand old staircase, cocktail bar, pictures on all the walls.
Room was very nice. Comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Vending machines provided for all required needs.
Staff in the cocktail bar were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. We had 2 excellent t nights in there.
Breakfast was very good. Staff were busy, but made time for us. Food options were very good.

Cons:

Best hotel in the area, but I think it is usually overpriced. You can stay in one of 2 Z Hotels within 500 metres, and cost is much less. We stayed when there was a bit of deal on and it was great value for money. I would stay there every time I was in London if it was the same price.

Best place to stay to explore London
Pros:

The location was fantastic. Perfect for anyone going to the theatres. We hardly used public transport while we were staying at the hotel as it’s a fantastic base and very walkable distances for a lot of the sights.
We loved the reusable water bottles in the room. They were very useful and were refilled many times.
Room was spotless, beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. When we come back to London in the future we’ll definitely stay here again.

The Best stay in London.
Pros:

The Strand Palace was absolutely amazing what a beautiful hotel in the perfect location, the hotel was spotless everywhere and the staff was amazing especially Bami he was a pleasure to deal with.

Cons:

Nothing we couldn’t fault anything.

The atmosphere, staff and location

Cons:

The shutters in the bedroom rattled so made sleeping difficult.
Also the shower had a large step into it, which, combined with an already low ceiling, meant I couldn't stand up straight in the cubicle - not the most comfortable showering experience!
