Plenty of parking. Pool was great for splash around with kids. Showing sports in the bar was great with it being champions league final night!
Even with a wedding party didn't find it noisy in our room. Easy access on a park & ride train into Birmingham. Considering how close off the motorway it is no significant traffic noise.
Jacuzzi wasn't filled when we visited. Rooms were quite hot & the fan didn't work to cool the room.
On the breakfast menu there was an option to pay additional for Starbucks coffee with breakfast yet staff seemed unaware of this & wasn't offered. Very minor things.
If you have to work in central Birmingham and don't mind the 15 mins it takes to drive in, this hotel is perfect.
Because of its location, it was at least 50% cheaper than a hotel with a more central location.
Plenty of free parking space.
No particular problems.
With its location outside Birmingham and the space it has available to it, this hotel probably gets lots of large functions over the weekend, there being a wedding the Saturday we arrived.
Be prepared for a busy hotel, but as we arrived back very late Saturday night, it had no impact on our stay.
It was advertised as having air conditioning which wasn’t operational hotel wide and hadn’t been for some time. That was one of my reasons for booking and I feel like I’ve been conned. It was the hottest day of the year with weather warnings in force so the air conditioning issue should have been communicated
The staff were friendly. The restaurant food was excellent. Housekeeping very considerate.
Little things like no milk in room although tea and coffee were there, Staff on Saturday breakfast not clearing tables fast enough as they were having very friendly chats with each other, Just attention to detail missing at breakfast.
Nice clean room good staff good breakfast.good location next to Motorway.
Very very busy .Massive hotel be prepared .A bit of a maze.

I stayed over night for an event. It was excellent for its purpose, clean and comfortable
Not enough time to see anything
Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Everything was great
Nice hotel
Facilities were good
Location to the Alexander Stadium - 10min away and a very good buffet breakfast selection on offer for £14 each.
AirCon didn’t work; the fan in bathroom didn’t work and no milk for a hot drink in room.
The location was perfect.
Booking a family room-Double bed and 2 single beds, to be given a double sofa bed and expecting a male 12 year old share a bed with a 16 year old sister! Having to makeshift a bed on the floor, and to find out that there’s no spare bedding available! Having to use towels as a blanket!
Great location for Alexander Stadium
The property was fine - my room looked like it had recently been refurbished. However the reception staff weren’t terribly helpful, there was no milk in the rooms as there hadn’t been a delivery, the food was average and the price of wine exorbitant!
Saturday night until late there was loud live music coming from somewhere as it was warm the windows were open, I gave up trying to get BBC on the TV so watched on the iPad instead, the pool was full fairly early Saturday morning both with swimmers and swimming lessons taking place
