We had booked one night stay at Holiday Inn Cambridge Lakeview. We were turned down at the time of checking even after having a confirmation number. There was no communication either from the property or from booking.com. We had to drive back home in a traumatic situation.. This is seriously unethical, unprofessional. It was for my wife's birthday celebrations. It was difficult for my son. We had plans for next day which we couldn't execute.. Booking.com canceled the reservation today (next day) without my consent.. Traumatic and stressful.
Convenience. Provides nice bar type food which is fairly good and not too expensive. Our room was a nice size and clean. Shower in bath is always a tight squeeze but workable. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
The coffee machines were not working in the evening which was disappointing but nothing serious.

The ability to park on the outskirts of Cambridge is an advantage. The reception staff were very pleasant and efficient. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent.
I enjoyed using the gym but was disappointed that I had to request paper towels to wipe the equipment down
The staff were great, the bar and restaurant are nice, the pool and spa were nice (although jacuzzi is a bit tired) and very easy to use, the room I was in was comfortable and spacious, nice comfy bed, nice and quiet. Solid bathroom walls and door, not glass which is good!
My bathroom was a bit rundown, chipped shower tray and paintwork, old, small shower head. My room was cold, the radiator wasn’t working, they had left a small electric radiator for me which did help to warm it up but took a long while. The food was crap! We ate in the restaurant both nights and it’s all just reheated frozen stuff, veggie options were rubbish. Breakfast was better but the veggie sausages were cheap and not nice at all! There’s so many good veggie alternatives now there’s really no excuse!

This hotel is tired, rooms are dated, bathroom needs regrouting, toilet was dirty, gym facilities very dirty, water dispenser in there probably could cause a pandemic. Bed was firm with little to no comfort. Aircon tempremental

Паркинга е безплатен само за членове на хотелската верига, нямаше еднократни чехли на разположение в стаята,вечер е малко тъмна стаята,въпреки наличието на 4-5 нощни лампи.
