Location is very quiet area, and very quick access to city centre too. I love food was delicious and waitresses was very nice
That my bath wasn't clean, even I stayed four nights,, the cleaning service just wiped it and did not clean it. As a guest you can't call every evening to redo cleaning it is annoying.
Ma chambre n’était plus disponible car en travaux !
Nous avons du être redirigé vers un autre hôtel sans avoir été prévenu, malgré une réservation plusieurs semaines auparavant
Location and value for money
Nothing
Breakfast- good choices. Nice pool. Water and cookies at reception
Parking cost. WiFi not working on tv. Room service food expensive and not that tasty
Location was excellent. Setting was very good. Sports facilities were good. Staff were great and got any issues sorted quickly.
Swimming pool was good but water was too cloudy. Jacuzzi was brilliant! Sink was a bit blocked in room. Single beds were too narrow(90cm), 115cm would be better for adults. Climb in bath/shower not great for my elderly father. It’s nice to have a bath but a walk in shower is better for people either limited mobility.
Room and staff were good value and it was great to have a swimming pool. We paid £5 to get our room upgraded. The only thing I would say about this was no one said what the difference in the rooms would be- might be an idea to explain briefly what you're getting.
Disappointing breakfast- continental food was good but mushrooms were dried out, sausages were poor quality and fried egg had a thick skin over it where it had sat under a heat lamp so rather disappointing I felt.
The hotel offered good value for money overall. The pool was clean and well maintained, and our room was also clean and comfortable.
Unfortunately, our experience with the staff was inconsistent. Out of the four staff members we dealt with, two were friendly and helpful, while the other two seemed uninterested in assisting guests.
We were not initially given the room type we had booked and were told that our booked room was unavailable, leaving us with little choice but to accept an alternative. After checking in, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working, so we had to move rooms. The second room also had a faulty air conditioning unit, requiring yet another room change. It was only on the third attempt that we were finally given a room with a functioning air conditioner.
Being a member certainly made a difference. Secind time staying here with my family. We got water and complimentary drinks in our room which was a really lovy touch. Room was very clean when we got there. Swimming pool is always fun. Breakfast was great, however pancakes were missing on our second day.
This hotel is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed being here
Asked the cleaner to service our room on the second day. She left all the food and empty food boxes on the table. The bathroom didn't get a clean down, particularly the floor. So came back to mess in the bathroom that needed a wipe down. So was a shame.
Also, front of house staff don't seem to want to talk much with people from Muslim background I noticed.
The restaurant staff are absolutely lovely though, maybe they need to be on the front desk as they are so lovely and approachable.
Good location - we were travelling in a group of 3 so drove into the city centre for day trips and parked there and split the parking cost between us otherwise there is a good bus route, taxis available and a local park and ride
We only stayed one night but it was very hot no fans
Staff are helpful at reception
Didn’t use any other facilities
Lots of silver fish in bathroom and towels
Bathroom needs updating but it’s clean and does the job
Clean bed slept well
Noisy children in room above, wall paper peeling off wall near bed, 2 adults 1 pack of biscuits to share, bathroom dirty around taps
Really lovely hotel, we had a large room for a family of 4 which was ideal. Our children loved the pool. We had dinner twice in the restaurant and the service and food was very good. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was my husband's birthday, which I had noted when booking, so there was a lovely surprise for him.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like as such, location was a little further out from Cambridge centre than I had thought but that was my fault not researching it properly, it wasn't a problem though. Parking should probably be included in the stay but it wasn't too expensive.
Nice rooms, good swimming pool
Paying for parking, noisy neighbours.
I wish I could have had joint rooms for my family but I understand it was almost a last minute reservation so it’s something more complicated to get sorted.
