Hotel felt old and in need of an uplift. Staff not particularly friendly or approachable.
Cons:

Room did not have a working AC on the hottest day of the year. Bar in foyer often was not manned, and this was where you ordered your meals. Occasionally there would be 4 or 5 people waiting, and staff would walk by them doing something else, and nobody asked if the people queuing were ok. Meant we all felt ignored. Not very customer focussed. Meals were hit and miss - some great, some pretty ordinary.

Pros:

De kamer was prima met fijne bedden. Lokatie net buiten Cambridge. Handig voor bezoek aan de stad en je zit zo weer op de snelweg.

Cons:

We hebben gedineerd in het restaurant, maar dat zou ik niet aanbevelen. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk maar het eten was slecht, smakeloos en veel te duur.

Pleasant stay, hotel in quiet location.
Pros:

Room size was good for 2 people, and liked that it had a swimming pool with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Also reception had handy little bits like sewing kits they could give out if you forgot things.

Cons:

The parking was expensive unless you joined to be an IHG member. There was an electrical fire at midnight on first evening and the staff at the time of evacuation told us everything was fine and nothing had happened. Only upon investigating myself did I find where the fire was but this area hadn’t even been cordoned off to guests. Breakfast items like bacon were cold when arriving with only 30 mins left of breakfast. Also iron in room had burn marks on and burnt an item of clothing. This was dealt with by Umut yeh duty manager very well but maybe this is something that needs checking more regularly.

Nice foyer, bit over priced and facilities not working fully
Pros:

Clean, staff friendly and in a lovely location. Few miles from the centre. Its a nice hotel overall. Has complimentary tea and coffee with biscuits.

Cons:

Over priced slightly. Menu was expensive, £10 for a sandwich and a pot of crisps is steep. Checking in late evening was tough, few staff. Guy was trying to serve beer and check us in, waited 15 mins to come and check us in and it was late at night, just not what you want. Bathroom dated, cracks in tiles, sealant grubby and the UHT milk was lumpy when we made a brew in the morning, probably not done well in the heat. Aircon in room, but didnt work.

Be careful, if not an IHG member you pay for parking. I just think if youre charging £120 for 1 night it should have better standard bathrooms and parking included.

Friendly staff, great location, clean a comfortable, lovely food In Restaurant and pool area lovely.

Cons:

Reception area beautiful, rooms a little tired could do with a freshen up but didn’t effect the stay at all was still lovely.
