The hotel is in need of a room renovations. The carpet smelled of stale smoke and dirty feet. It was hard to sleep with the odour. The mattresses are hard and lumpy. The floors in the lobby and elevators were sticky. Tracks between the elevator doors were filthy. We went to the bar to have a cocktail before dinner and there was dirty glasses and plates left at empty tables. The staff seemed to be overworked and unable to keep up with the amount of clientele. The location is ideal for early morning flights but it would be better to skip it and find a better hotel in cleaner conditions.
My stay at the Holiday Inn was disappointing. The seating in the dining room has been reduced since I was last there, and as a result, the earliest reservation that I could get upon my arrival at the hotel was a two-hour wait.
While my single room and bathroom were very small, the room was clean and tidy. However, there were only two hangers provided. Most troubling of all, there was a lot of black mould in my shower stall.
Rooms are clean, but worn out. Carpet is threadbare in places.
Hotel is very convenient located within walking distance to the Glasgow airport.

Room was freezing ( 17 degrees on entry with fan on high)
Thankfully someone from reception came and sorted out the thermostat ( which I had tried to do … but failed)
No fridge in room . Position where it should have been was empty . Hence we had no where to store our sandwiches for morning ( as no time for breakfast )
Convenient location
The location was amazing. It was so close to the airport, my 80 year old mom could walk it easily.

I was just staying one night. My room was clean and the bed comfortable. I liked the convenience of being close to the airport.

Very easy 2 minute walk to the terminal.
Staff were friendly despite being about 3a.m,explained everything about room and breakfast. Very helpful,as were other staff at breakfast.
Can’t comment on parking as didn’t bring car.
Great location for access to and from the airport. The restaurant food was also very nice.
