We had the loveliest stay at the Marine Hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous with superb views across the golf course. The hotel was in a great location with only a short walk to the beach and high street. The staff were most helpful, especially Gina who provided us with her knowledge, guidance and recommendations. We spent one morning in the spa which was extremely relaxing. We will definitely return to The Marine in the future.

We have just returned from
2 nights at this hotel in double double room. Room was fabulous. Food dreadful (breakfast And dinner) and spa facilities need a lot more of an upgrade. This hotel needs a lot more refinement before it can fully justify what it charges.

Husband and I stayed for 1 night. Check in was very quick. Beautiful lobby and bar area. We stayed on the first floor in a double sea view room. Views were incredible over the golf course towards the sea. The room itself was smaller than expected. The window was only able to open a few inches. Like many other reviews, the room was incredibly hot. Thankfully there was a fan provided so had to keep that on the entire time. Sadly no dressing table to be able to sit and do hair and make up. Could do with a bit modernising, some things appeared dated and worn.
We went down to the spa but didn’t even stay an hour. There was maybe only 10 or so of us using the spa but it felt very cramped. Only 4 or 5 loungers so didnt have anywhere to relax. Indoor pool very cold. The hydro/heated pool that goes outside is very very small. Doesnt fit many people in it comfortably. few sauna/steam rooms. Luckily the spa facilities were included in our stay, I wouldn’t pay seperately to use the facilities for the likes of a spa day.
Not many tables at the bar. For the size of hotel could do with being a bit bigger.
Went to the restaurant for breakfast and it was lovely. Not many places have the option for a bacon roll etc so that was a welcome change. Good selection.
In general the staff were excellent. Service was excellent. Location was excellent.

Staff are faultless, from reception, spa, breakfast to cleaning team. Get a sea view room and you won't need to watch TV. Golf course and beach right outside, so beautiful. Very quiet and bed extremely comfortable
