Great Location for seeing Kyoto
Pros:

The staff at the Mitsui Garden hotel were wonderful, very helpful. The room was good, plenty of room for two of us and our luggage. The breakfast was very good. There were western item and lots of Japanese items. I liked that there was some variety in food from day to day. We also appreciated that the breakfast area was open all day for tea. The location was perfect as we were taking public transit all over Kyoto, we could easily get to our transit (bus, subway or train) from the hotel.

Very convenient place for Shinkansen in Kyoto
Pros:

Very close to train station. Staff very good. Breakfast good.

Overall really nice!
Pros:

The rooms are beautiful and decently sized and the staff are very nice and welcoming

Cons:

Our room did not have a window which could be due to the type of room we booked. Though we did not request for the room to have a window

Cons:

I've stayed at many Mitsue Garden hotels before so I didn't check in depth before booking this one but I was disappointed this one did not have a public bath. My room also had no natural light and i wasnt able to open the window
