Pros:

Great convenient location close to Kyoto Station. Excellent customer service. Nice bath tub. Love their offer to limit full room service to conserve energy and resources. Excellent breakfast offered and refreshments til midnight when returning from a long day out.

Cons:

Slight confusion about Yamanato service to Narita which was caused inconvenience and an unexpected long walk to deliver our luggage in time. For some reason they did not explain there is a close location in Kyoto Station so we dragged our luggage through blocks in the city. But we realize it was likely a miscommunication or misunderstanding on our part. Excellent service our entire 5 night stay. We would stay there again and can't wait to return to beautiful Kyoto!

Fantastic location, but relatively smaller rooms

Pros:

location, staff, rooms and ambience were the highlights of this hotel. staff was courteous and went out of their way to address any concerns we had. would definitely stay at this location again.

Very nice quiet boutique hotel, we walked a lot as a lot of places we wanted to go to were quicker to walk
