Lift was out of order
Due to extreme weather and systems not working it wasn't the best of stays. We arrived around 4.30 but couldn't get keys to room until after 9pm. Lifts kept failing due to the heat, so long waits to get the one lift that did work. The hotel did their best to compensate with free lounge access.
The staff are exceptional at the hotel, really excellent service, thank you. The room was ok, but very small, had to squeeze between bed and furniture to get around room. The bathroom was large and lovely.
Gave the 4 stars for the lovely staff!
Good a/c! Fantastic location across Hyde Park. Great restaurant on site.
Despite the minor hiccups, the staff managed the situation in excellent style. Hotel Manager Alex Henskens and his entire team deserve the highest level of praise. Well done.
Also a special mention of Herlyn Fernando of the Park Room Lounge and Restaurant for her excellent service and friendly attitude. A natural leader.

I was expecting a lot when I was told I'd be spending a night at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on Park Lane. I've looked at it from the bus on many occasions and wondered what it must be like inside.
The reception area certainly lives up to the hype, but get to one of the regular rooms and you could be in any mid-range hotel anywhere in the world. Oh, and don't go expecting a view across Hyde Park if you're not in one of the premium rooms.
J W Marriott, Grosvenor house London, excellent property, Iconic address. Stayed between 14th and 19th of May. Satisfied with room allocation in absence of Hyde Park View which was unavailable. Sometimes, I wonder whether membership with Titanium status means anything special. After little bit of hiccups, we are helped by hotel manager Mr. Alex Henskens and suddenly we started feeling comfortable. A fiasco of laundry service was settled by Mr. Mehta who tried his best to give us comfort.Good food is available in all the resturant. We visited Lounge few times and Sarah Valle , resturant supervisor has given us wonderful service which has made us more comfortable. Tho hotel is in the middle from where lots of resturant and bus stops for transportation and sight seeing are closed by. This helps our stay more meaningful. We want to return again ,of course with Hyde Park vies which we have missed this time.
Just had the most amazing afternoon tea experience ever to celebrate Mother’s Day with my wife and daughter. This is by far the best place to have afternoon tea that we’ve experienced. The tea and food were fantastic. The creativity and flavor of the desserts was phenomenal, and the service provided by @Pratigya and @Herlyn was incredible. We were all treated with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt relaxed and pampered. Pratigya explained the exceptional food items very well, gave us ample time to enjoy every sumptuous bite, and sent us home with the dessert items we simply could not finish. We highly recommend the afternoon tea experience to everyone.
Specifically The Park Room afternoon tea… was beyond lovely, elegant, delicious, luxurious, and more! Hands down the best service I have experienced for tea time, best culinary offering from the sandwiches to the sweets… and the SCONES!!!
Ask for Altay, he is truly the best and went above and beyond to make my experience feel unique and glamorous… and for that level of hospitality, I am forever grateful!
Leo is also a staple of the Park Room — equally as amazing service and kindness, warmth, hospitality, care, and attention as Altay —- they are true gems!
It was recommended by a friend and I went for the first time in Jan 2025 (and it was my third afternoon tea in London of that week, my last before I departed back to the States and it did not disappoint! ) and said I will be coming back… and I did!!
June 2026 was my 2nd visit at the Park Room for tea time and Leo and Altay were also / still there!!! Truly felt homey. Cant wait for take 3!
Ps did i mention how delish the food and goodies were?!?!
Ps: they serve Ruinart Champagne which is 👌👌👌👌👌
Thank you to the team and to the Chef!
