Cleansing
The hotel’s location is very convenient. There was a lady, a worker at the front desk that I later met when I had questions about the WiFi, she was very helpful and nice.
The bar and lounge staff were extremely nice and quick as well.
From the starting point - checking in was not a good experience, the guy who checked me in had NO friendly smile, he didn’t smile at all. When you asked questions he looked at you as if what you were asking was dumb, there was no energy-when I said thanks, he just looked at you.
Our room was not as clean, the dining table was not clean, the kitchen was leaking water, in the fridge, our microwave did not work and had to be replaced. The bathroom tub looked filthy. In the bedroom, our lamp kept blinking on and off, the night stand drawers kept falling out.
The complimentary breakfast was pretty good but some of the staff/cook seemed like she did not want to be there. I’m sure working with people can be a lot but we need to be aware of our facial expressions especially when handling customers. Also, there was a worker on staff throwing up in the trash can and she kept on work as if it was nothing. Go to the bathroom, wash your hands, please.
Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Lage nahe nationalem Flughafen.
After a long flight, what better way to start your lodging then with a warm welcome. Heley's great customer service began with a great smile and ended with exceptional professionalism. She reminded me why The Embassy is our go to spot! Thank you Heley!!
Embassy Suites employs wonderful, happy, and helpful people that always serve with a smile. The staff that clean the rooms do a wonderful job. The breakfast buffet is delightful with made-to-order omelets, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes and waffles. There are plenty of delicious restaurants around here, too, and the proximity to the metro is convenient.
The location was great for my business in D.C. and loved the fact that there’s a shuttle from DCA. I didn’t expect the security measures for the door and elevator but it was a nice touch.
I liked that the rooms were quiet + that the temperatures could go lower than 68 since it was so hot outside.
Also, Alexis was so lovely and helpful at check-in!
Helen at the front desk was magnificent – she was warm and welcoming, followed up with a text and equally friendly checkout. Give her a raise!
Staff is always pleasant
Room is comfortable but cleaning is not thorough.
When we checked in, Our room had dirty napkin and plastic hanger left over by previous guest. The hot water in the bathroom sink did not work. The faucet of the bar sink by coffee maker did not work.
The hallway carpet is dirty !
It is unfortunate there is no food service during the day at least room service.
The key card malfunctions late night. I had to have my key reset. It worked for the elevator but not my room so I had to wake up my daughter to open the door !!
I was told there is some malfunction and can not be resolved 🤷♀️
We have been staying at this hotel for about 23 years with the exception of Covid. Rates have gone much higher but hotel lacks cleanliness & has diminished service.
But as mentioned earlier, staff is nice. Helen and Seth at front desk are very friendly and nice. The breakfast staff ( the ladies) are really nice. Sofia at the bar is fantastic.
Fnu has great customer service skills and very welcoming!
Friendly and helpful staff.
Layout of the room that includes sitting area and bedroom handy for a family of 5.
Breakfast quality.
Value for money..
Cost of parking that is more than double the cost of 24 hours parking at parking facility just across the road
Clean, comfort and spacious room. Breakfast was great with a cook to order option included in nightly room rate. Location is close to many of food and drink options and two metro stops within a few blocks of walking. Kevin was a huge help resolving a issue we had with our key cards not working. He personally resolved the issue quickly and apologized immediately.
Even though the hotel was experiencing some small technical difficulties, they did everything in their power to accommodate me. I also needed to make a change to my reservations and Seth immediately helped me and even spoke with me afterwards to make sure all had gone correctly.
Breakfast and breakfast staff were good.
I called around 3pm asking if there is anyway I can do a 30min early check in and was told that due to the hotel being fully booked it wasn't possible. That they need to have my room ready. I went to eat before arriving to the hotel at 5pm. The room was ready, but when I went in the room there was no shampoo or towels. I noticed this when I went ti shower, so it was a huge inconvenience. At night arpund 2am there was a huge fight/ruckus on the 3rd floor and I could hear it on the 7th floor. Which than turned into a brawl and loud argument on the parking lot. It was 3am and they still was there. I called the lobby 3 times and spoke to someone at last attempt. I asked to call the police because it woke up my children and couldn't go back to sleep until around 530am. And for the cherry on top, 3 African American teenage or older banged on my door 2 times. Two holding the elevator doors and one running and banging on the door. Which scared my children. I asked the manager if they can look into it, or see the camaras or investigate. I was answered his engineering department needed to see the footage on the first floor and it will take a couple of days. But he couldnt do anything about it. And just waived my stay. I didnt care about paying the stay but due to these events it made my stay experience horrible and traumatizing for my young children ages 3 and 6. They are traumatized and I will consult with my attorney to seek legal actions because I felt brushed off after they comp the stay and didnt show empathy or try to see what was going on. I choose this hotel because it is a good location, great space but I would have rather went somewhere else that has better control of its guest, of situations that got escalated to fights and conflict and works with the guest to resolve the issue. Plain and simple it was a terrible experience and I doubt I will ever be back here.
The evening we came in there were 3 buses of middle school students.
We were well cared for in spite of all the people. Alexandria was so hospitable. She kept her grace all evening.
We will revisit the Embassy Suites again.
The Christopher’s
Room was great. Staff was great. Hamid served attentively. Court and Alexis were great at the front desk, even amid an embarrassing and inconvenient computer crisis. Everything was very clean, an excellent value. It was nice and quiet in our room. The continental breakfast, and its staff, were A+. A pool would’ve been nice, but we enjoyed everything just as it was. Location was great. Oodles
Of places to walk, shop, or eat.
Helen was great at the front desk
Lola was very helpful and kind.
