The nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. So comfortable & luxurious. Staff were absolutely amazing. I can’t actually find 1 fault with this hotel, not even a small issue. Just amazing. We stayed there over Easter weekend & we arrived back to our room that night to find a beautiful Irish handcrafted Easter egg & a hand-written Easter card. Wow

I had a wonderful stay at The Shelbourne. The elegance, beauty, and history of the hotel enchanted me, while the friendliness and professionalism of the team made me feel extremely well taken care of.

The staff at the Shelbourne were exceptional throughout my stay. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, but I especially want to recognize Padraig, who truly stood out. His enthusiasm and deep knowledge of Irish history made the experience that much more memorable. He went above and beyond to share insights and stories that you simply wouldn’t get otherwise. It added a personal and authentic touch to the stay. I would absolutely return.

Such a gorgeous hotel! If possible, stay in one of the park-view rooms; they're stunning and feel so historic. The residents-only bar is wonderful and the room service, especially the breakfast, was amazing!

Beautiful hotel! The staff couldn’t have been any better throughly looked after myself & my wife over Easter weekend. I thought the whisky selection in the Horseshoe Bar couldn’t be beaten…. Our evening meal in the Saddle Room was without doubt 1 of the best meals I’ve ever had… 10 oot of 10 for the Shelbourne & can’t wait to visit again!!

Most enjoyable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very easy to access. Door and reception staff helpful and attentive.

We lost a phone today and Damien Concierge went to great lengths to find it , a real investigator who successfully found it for us .

Everything was perfect. The hotel location is great, we could walk everywhere and any taxi rides were short. Super clean and has great bars and restaurants inside. Breakfast is amazing. Fantastic rooms, beautiful hotel, great service - we will recommend and return!

Great stay. Perfect location, short walk to many attractions and restaurants.

Good experience. A few issues around getting a table at Breakfast but we can get over that. Room were v good. very nice experience. Second time staying.

When my son and his fiancee got engaged on 4th February 2024, they knew that The Shelbourne was the hotel they wanted for their wedding reception. They got married on 2nd April 2026 in City Hall and welcomed their guests for the celebrations in The Shelbourne Ballroom. As a family, we stayed in the Hotel for 3 nights to make the most of the occasion. From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond for the happy couple and ourselves. The welcome at Reception was so warm and that set the tone for the whole stay. Cathy (their wedding planner), the hotel's florists, concierge desk, bar and restaurant staff and doormen couldn't have been more helpful with organising taxis, room service, making sure boutonnieres for the gentlemen and corsages for the ladies in the bridal party were ready for transportation to the civil ceremony. My new daughter-in-law was so delighted with the effort the Hotel put into making her feel so special on her departure with her bridesmaids and the welcome they received on their return to the Hotel as a newly-married couple was something they'll never forget. The drinks flowed and the food at the drinks reception was perfect, the wedding meal was delicious and the staff were so professional and courteous from start to finish. It was the first time a lot of the guests had been in The Shelbourne and several people remarked on the splendour of The Ballroom and how beautifully decorated it was. We have stayed at The Shelbourne Hotel in the past, enjoyed afternoon tea in The Lord Mayor's Lounge on a couple of occasions and the No. 27 bar is one of our favourite places as a family to celebrate momentous occasions or just pop in for a drink, so we knew we would be well looked after - but this stay was memorable!
