Great Location though no memories to takeway!
Pros:

Excellent location, but little else stood out. Service felt impersonal, the requested lake-view room turned out to be only a partial lake/river view, and even basic toiletries such as a dental and shaving kit were absent. For a Marriott of this stature, it lacked the warmth and attention to detail one expects. A convenient stay, but not a memorable one.

We loved the location: it’s central close to station and not far from airport.

Kahvaltı ve odaların konforu çok iyiydi. Otelin konumu yürüyerek gezmek için çok uygundu. Temiz bir otel.

Cons:

Resepsiyonda çalışanların tavrı hiç hoş değildi. Ana binada rezervasyon yapmamıza rağmen bizi odanız upgrade oldu diyerek uzakta bulunan diğer binaya gönderdiler. Diğer binaya ulaşmak çok uzun sürdü ve gittiğimizde oda çok kötü kokuyordu, aynı zamanda upgrade de olmamıştı. Sonrasında tekrardan aşağı inip kendi odamızı talep ettik. Bu süreç yüzünden çok ciddi vakit kaybı yaşadık. Her zaman tercih ettiğimiz Marriott grubunda böyle bir çalışan olması çok şaşırtıcı.

Nicely refurbished and highly functional Marriott
Pros:

Very nicely refurbished Marriott alongside the river and that is close to the old city. Dull external facade of the hotel does not reflect the upgrade that is apparent as soon as you enter the premises. The lobby area as well as throughout the hotel was filled with a fragrance that was pleasant and welcoming - nice. Check-in by the front staff was professional, courteous and efficient. Although I literally requested a room just 30 mins before I arrived and the room was available speaks nicely to their attentiveness. I had to move as my original reservations at the Citizen M was "cancelled" without opportunity to rebook for reasons that are still unclear to me. I was given access to the M Club that offered a great breakfast and snacks for many hours throughout the day. Assigned room was extremely comfortable and nicely adorned with fresh decorations and furniture - that all functioned well. Bed was very comfortable, climate control worked wonderfully as did the wifi. Bathroom worked well; shower provided voluminous amounts water and pressure that is appreciated by this guest. There were ample electrical outlets to charge the many peripherals and the working deck was of sufficient size to host virtual meetings. This Marriott exceeds my expectations - based on my experience of the same in the US.

Pros:

This is a lovely hotel in Zurich, conveniently located near Zurich HB station, just a 7-10 minute walk away. The breakfast here is simply amazing, and all the services are top-notch.

However, there’s a minor issue with the elevators. Only two of them are working, which makes me wait a long time every time I need to use them, especially during rush hour.

Another problem I encountered was a water leak in my room. They had to come and fix it twice, and all my belongings underneath were soaked.
