Stay at Toronto's best grand hotel, The King Edward.
Pros:

The service was exemplary! Every staff member we came in contact with was accommodating and exceptionally kind. The room was lovely, and the care the Victoria Cafe staff took of my dad, who has mobility concerns, was excellent.

Cons:

I wouldn't change a thing.

Excellent hotel in great location.
Pros:

The hotel and service were exceptional. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed and exceptionally clean. The staff were very helpful, from checkin through to advising on places to visit. Our experience at the hotel was excellent.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful decoration, will stay again.
Pros:

Check in was great (Michaela or Melanie? very welcoming and informative.
The room was very large and set out well. There was no disturbance, the bedroom and bathroom were very clean as was the shower. The bed and pillows were very comfy and the aircon quiet. Most of the staff were very helpful and attentive. The hotel lobby is beautiful and it was nice to be able to sit there comfortably. Everything as we had hoped for. We loved the location of the hotel and it was easy to get about and not far from anything. The area it was in felt very safe and the doorman were a nice touch. Bar was nice to sit and drink in at the bar but it closed earlier than we had thought it would.

Cons:

We had trouble turning the shower on and off and it was extremely stiff which reception acknowledged. An extra lamp (no main ceiling lights) on the table under the TV would have enhanced the lighting.
a small niggle was there was one receptionist who couldn't answer our general question about public transport and she was the only person on reception and didn't offer any alternative ways to get help (perhaps she was new).
We had a friendly but over zealous server in the bar and we wondered if he was looking for a tip with each drink he bought over as he kept checking on us and saying cheers! found it a bit too much as we wanted to sit and drink and chat without constant interruptions. A small issue in the grand scheme of things.

Really Excellent choice for Toronto
Pros:

Location was great as were the staff particularly the concierge who was absolutely brilliant - best we’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Very comfy bed with high quality linens. Room was quite compact but shower room a good size.

Cons:

Bar staff weren’t as friendly as staff in the rest of the hotel.
