Ce n’est pas un 5 étoiles, mais pas un 4 non plus.
Pros:

L’hôtel possède une architecture remarquable, notamment les parties communes qui sont particulièrement soignées. La literie est confortable et le chauffage était agréable.

Cons:

Les chambres montrent un manque d’entretien notamment sur les huisseries ou les douches. Les finitions de la salle de bain ne sont pas à la hauteur d’un hôtel 4 étoiles et je le déplore, et je ne parlerai pas du manque de pression, du mitigeur capricieux et de la baignoire acrylique en guise de douche. Le carrelage froid des chambres laissaient entrevoir dans quelques angles poussières et cheveux venant de précédentes occupations des lieux, le ménage n’est pas rassurant mais le linge était très propre, ceci dit n’avait pas une odeur particulièrement agréable.

Overpriced
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay in Nice and have been to the Aston many times. It is now rather tired, dated and needs upgrading. The rooms are not worthy of their stars or the hefty price tag. Breakfast is average - the croissants were delicious though. The Aston it would appear relies solely on its excellent central location as a selling point. We had issues with the taps which are needing to be replaced. The staff were friendly. Comfy beds and pillows but have had the same bed dressings for years and the chairs are worn. With so many hotels in Nice the Aston had better pull their socks up if they want continued custom.

Nice city break
