Upon arriving at the hotel at 10:30 PM after a long journey, I was shocked when the receptionist informed me that the hotel was fully booked and only had a single-bed room available, with no extra beds because it was Eid al-Adha. I told him we had booked a room for three adults, all over 25 years old, and asked how a small single bed could possibly suffice. He responded that this was the hotel’s policy and apologized, saying it was all they had. This prompted me to speak with another receptionist, who dismissed the issue and repeated the same thing, claiming the hotel’s capacity policy allowed for three people in that room. I have photos showing the bed is barely enough for two people, let alone three. We were then told there was one additional room available, but it would cost 167 Bahraini Dinars, approximately 445 USD. Exhausted, I tried searching for another hotel, but unfortunately, the time wasn’t ideal for online booking as it was past midnight, marking the start of a new day. This meant that even if we booked another hotel, check-in would be between 12 PM and 3 PM, leaving us without a place to sleep for over 12 hours, especially since we were already exhausted from travel. We took a car and visited other hotels but couldn’t find a suitable booking. After an hour and a half, we returned to our hotel, and to our surprise, the receptionist informed us that, fortunately, someone had checked out, and a room with an extra bed was now available.

Pros:

The location of this hotel is great and so is the food and service. The rooms/suites are very spacious and were recently renovated nicely. The 3 pools are a good size for our kids and the lifeguards in site are very vigilant. Our kids also like the kid club and the activities they do. The gym is pretty big and never busy. Breakfast has a good selection and is worth including. Also, the restaurants at this hotel offer good food options and have a nice vibe.
