Quality Inn Lakeville North

I didn't see on the website that there was no elevator. The front desk person's English was very hard to understand. My room was cold and very humid. The carpet and sheets felt damp. I had to put the heat on to try and get the moisture out of the room, but then the room would get hot. I ended up staying on first floor being no elevator. But I didn't feel as safe. I left before breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel.

Never cleaned the rooms or changed the bedding! Sometimes they gave us clean towels, on Sunday we got back to our room and the towels, washcloths were still in a pile by the tub! I went down to the desk and ask why? The excuse… the cleaning persons team lost in the World Cup soccer championship and she was so upset she had to go home! I ask for towels and he gave my daughter a clothes basket to bring the dirty towels first!

Room was very damp smelling the whole week, they never came by the make our beds, they only grabbed old towels and left fresh, although the last day we came back and nothing had been done. When we inquired about it, we were told that the housekeeper was upset about Argentina losing the soccer cup and left. We asked about new towels and were told we had to bring down our old ones first. I had to ask for a basket as they were very wet from the day before to bring them down.
The refrigerator was more of a mini freezer… our gallon of water was frozen solid over night. We tried to adjust to find out it was already at the highest temp.
The toilet did not flush properly. You had to hold it down all the way to flush it and it maybe flushed completely. Maybe.

No continental Breakfast.

Drama with occupants No one at the desk…had to,ring a bell and they could t speak English well.

Checked in and 2 times had to return to front desk since card keys didn't work, eventually moved to another room, we were delayed by this. A part of upper door lock appeared to be torn out, missing, so unusable, fan in bathroom wasn't working until finally left it on running & may have barely worked at a low level, toilet stool would run longer than normal even removed tank cover once to stop it. Beverages froze in the refrigerator though placed on middle rack, didn't notice until opened one bottle and the diet soda foamed up and ran over onto the carpet until could grab a cup.

In general, the hotel is a little run down; It could use some new paint on the walls and new blinds. The only public bathroom was locked shut because it was clogged for our entire 2 day stay. The exercise room was in a guest room ( odd) the TV in there didn't work and the blinds were broken hanging in the window. The hot tub was also out of order and I was looking forward to the hot tub.

Nothing

The lotion bottle attached to the bathroom mirror kept dripping and wasting lotion.

Room didn't have very good lighting, could stand a few upgrades to the furnishings.
