Location
Very tired, needs to be rennovated.
Gym only opens 8 AM which is too late. The peleton did not work and apparently has not for at least a month.
Did not eat I do not eat pastrirs
Location ,peaceful and 2 bathrooms
I never complain like this, but Connor at the front desk was so rude to my wife. I couldn’t believe it… when we asked him for help he said we had to call bookings.com because we booked through a third-party and they cannot help us… Overall, he was just very very rude… I know everybody has bad days, but this was a little overboard
Queen queen room good having 2 bathrooms
Noise from refurbishment with no acknowledgment of what we were expected to put up with. Shuddering walls. Crashing doors. Sounds like furniture would come through our ceiling any minute
Nice hotel, clean, comfortable, predictable with universally friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. Valet parking included. Coffee and tea available 24/7 downstairs; good coffee. Numerous nice restaurants within short walking distance and a drug store a block away. Beaches 3-5 minutes away with easy parking.
Bathroom was so small side was on the wall when using the toilet. No storage space. Not well laid out
Charged additional 47 that claimed Hotels.com doesn’t show correctly so
The room was 25 percent higher than the rate shown
My daughter and I spent 6 nights in September at Montecito Inn. It was my second visit. The desk staff and valet are helpful and pleasant. The location cannot be beat. It is excellent. However; the night before we checked out, I changed my credit on file to another card. Fine- no problem. When we checked out at 6:30 am there was a $769+ bill on my room. I told the desk clerk that is not my charge. He said he didn’t know how to rectify it and to call the day clerk later. I did call and again, person could not explain the charge. I called on Monday and desk clerk looked at my bill, sent me a other copy of it and told me he had no idea why or what the charge was and told email another person, which I did. I followed up several days later with another email. - no response. I called 11 days after first email and asked to speak with person. Clerk came back and said I would get a call today or tomorrow. I’m on east coast time and Thursday did not work for me. Again - no email saying person was sorry or any acknowledgment I have now disputed the charge, as I told them I would and written this review, which I told them I would. . I find this extremely POOR customer service. I told the clerk and stated in my final email how disrespectful and poor customer , this was handled.
Also - no room service - it’s DoorDash from in house bar/restaurant….😳
Staff was excellent.
Beautiful spacious king suite within walking distance to ocean and shopping.
The inn has all you within the property, but the need for the beach is a very walk.
We stayed at the hotel overnight as we headed south down the coast. We had a queen-queen room that had 2 shower rooms and a king albeit the bed didn’t seem king size. Best service we’ve had at a hotel since we started our trip, from the valet and reception staff on arrival to the bar tender when we popped in for a drink. The location is great to easily walk to the beach and to wander around Montecito or pop into Santa Barbara for a wander round the shops or a meal.
N
Great location. Rooms could use some updating. One thing I did not like is when taking a shower the temperature of the water would fluctuate, sometimes very hot then cold then back to normal.
Aged. Poor finishes. Everything was crooked - floor, doors, etc. The bed was comfortable. Noisey as it's near a freeway. If you go into it thinking an antique experience you will be fine. If you are looking for Montecito elegant. Look elsewhere.
The king room was very small, and the window latch didn’t even lock. The elevator is from 1930, which is fine if you can handle keeping two door doors open and get your luggage in all by yourself. On the plus side, the staff was very good, the place was very clean, it was quiet, I just don’t think they should be renting a walk-in closet as a king room.
