Our style of hotel
Pros:

We love staying there. The rooms are big and comfortable and we love the "industrial" style/concrete floors, etc.

Cons:

Not really a lobby but we dont hang out in theblobby anyway. Some rooms have tiny bathrooms.

It was surprisingly super quiet at night despite the traffic below and we were able to get a peaceful night sleep.
Pros:

Location was great!! Enjoyed that it was walkable to so many restaurants and bars.

Cons:

It wasn’t as photos described. Lobby floors were old and it was dark. Room was smaller than advertised and floors were so creaky. Nothing looked updated except for the bathroom. Hallways and elevator were old, and the elevator was so slow.

Für 2-3 Nächte ok wenn man keinen europäischen Standard erwartet
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, man ist direkt am Union Square und hat einen guten Ausgangspunkt um San Francisco zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Ausstattung war ok.

Cons:

Bei Check-In wird eine Kaution einbehalten. Dieser Betrag wird von der Kreditkarte abgebucht und wochenlang nicht erstattet.
Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und die Wände sind extrem dünn. Man hört bspw. wenn der Zimmernachbar duscht oder TV schaut. Für 3 Nächte fande ich es aber aushaltbar. Für Leute mit einem leichten Schlaf könnte das allerdings stören sein.

Our stay was very manageable especially in the area of the Hotel.

decent option
Pros:

Irene at front desk was great, friendly, and accommodated us with early check-in. Location is convenient. Hotel itself is ok if you are not planning to spend a lot of time. AC was so loud that you can have trouble falling asleep.

Great location - horrible doorman
Pros:

Rooms are modern, great location to Union Square. Be careful with the doorman - he’s invasive and instead of asking appropriate questions he escalates based on what he thinks is going on in your room.

Uncomfortably cold room; ineffective heating
Pros:

I cannot recommend this hotel for cooler weather. The room was freezing because of a drafty, slat-style window in the bathroom and an ineffective heater that only blew lukewarm air. I barely slept due to the cold, and the front desk had no space heaters to offer. A very uncomfortable experience.

Central location, nice room but awful breakfast
Pros:

I really loved my room. It was spacious and well designed.

Cons:

The breakfast was a disgrace! Honestly, I was shocked at how bad it was. It should be free for what is on offer and I'd then say it was a great little extra but it's no way worth paying for.
