Elyka Hotel

Reception and check in was great. The room was horrible. Very dirty, shower leaked all over the floor, TV falling off the wall, bed was literally flat. Reception area dirty and filled with packages. We had to check out after the first night. The area of the hotel was in the heart of the bizarre area and attractions. Working on my refund now but reception was understanding and did not dispute us having to leave

Staff was very kind. Hotel room was tiny with no place to hang up or put away clothes. Shower had black mold. Breakfast was fine. I did not get one night of decent sleepsince the other guests were so loud. I also suspect that guests were smoking in their rooms, as I could smell smoke in my room at night.

When I get the reservation, I was looking and trusting the pictures but those are not in real time. Pictures were taken in ages ago and the rooms are not maintained. The frames of the door are loose, the shower door missing the knots, the clogged drain. I stayed for 10 days, bed sheet were not changed even once. I have to ask for the chambermaid to do the bed and we’re not do it just take the bedspread and put it over. Really the hotel was in bad shape.
In the morning, at 8:30 am, dining room was full of dirty dishes on all the tables. You have to move by yourself to get a table. They just take when breakfast was over at 10 am.
The staff was generally gentle, even if they didn’t speak English, the take Google translate and they get the message.

Le personnel de l’accueil est vraiment très aimable et serviable, et nous avons même eu droit à un petit gâteau de bienvenue, ce qui nous a fait très plaisir. Merci beaucoup pour cette délicate attention.

Cependant, voici les points que nous avons moins appréciés :

1. Les chambres ne sont pas bien isolées sur le plan acoustique. On entend beaucoup le bruit de la circulation et des conversations à l’extérieur, aussi bien le matin que le soir, ce qui rend le sommeil difficile.


2. L’entretien de la chambre laisse à désirer. En dehors du lit (qui n’était pas parfaitement fait) et du changement des serviettes, le ménage semblait incomplet. Même nos verres à café n’ont pas été remplacés ni lavés.


3. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner n’était pas très satisfaisant. Le pain était de qualité moyenne, il n’y avait pas de vrai café (seulement du café instantané à diluer dans de l’eau chaude), et le service manquait d’efficacité. À plusieurs reprises, il n’y avait plus de couverts, plus de pain, et les tables n’étaient pas débarrassées. Le personnel, malgré les caméras installées, ne venait pas spontanément, il fallait les appeler à chaque fois.

Super nice place, very clean, easy access, walkable to lots of restaurants, shopping area etc. the staff was amazing and very helpful, best place to stay in that area, will definitely be back. Thank you.

1-2 konaklama için ideal ancak sadece geceyi geçirmek için düşünenler tercih etsin. Kahvaltı çok kısıtlı, açık büfe değil, otoparkı yok, çok bi beklemtisi olmayıp merkezi konumda kalmak isteyen kişiler için ideal, ancak bence fiyat performansa göre pahalı kalmış.

The staff was helpful and the place was nice and clean.

The hotel is very nice, the staff was very helpful all the time, breakfast was very good!
Ergün was great with hospitality, everyday we came back from touring Istanbul, he was always there waiting with a big smile, he always recommended places to go eat, also we made us Turkish coffee every time, my only negative with the hotel was that there’s no elevator, even though the front desk staff was very helpful and took our suitcases up to our room, and they also brought them down.

This is a very cute hotel off the main road so you are not bothered by the hassle and bustle of the city, but you are still close to all the action. I loved that everything I wanted to see was a short walk away. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant. I felt right at home. I will definitely come back

Was in a great location for visiting the tourist sites. Ergun was great and helped us get settled.

No extra shell space, no napkins napkin & extra cabbage can, no cup for brushing, no self-control air/hot conditioning. No extra space/shell in toilet, Not enough clothing space/hanger! Carpet is torned.

The hotel is located at a workable distance to the Grand Bazaar and accessible to Eminonu by tram. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The amenities are required to be upgraded.

Overall, excellent hotel near the Grand Bazaar. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Room was clean, amazing food all around within 1 minute walk. Would definitely recommend if you want to stay near the Bazaar.

Great stay in a great location. Hotel is older, but nice. Great breakfast and awesome staff! For the rate, you can't beat it. Love the hospitality of this hotel!
