Bad Experience!!!!
Pros:

Location

Cons:

I booked a Suite for two nights Friday/Saturday so that I could decorate room on Friday. We had to switch Suites on Saturday due to plumbing issues. There was dirt that was coming up out of the bathroom sink. The Suites are outdated! The couch/carpet was stained. There was mold/mildew around the kitchen sink. I decorated the room however since we had to switch rooms some of my decor was ruined and the hotel manager offered a 20 percent off for one our two nights, which did not even equal up to the money we lost out on for decorations.

Just the vibe I needed
Pros:

Cesar was 10 stars out of 5... Such attention to detail and brought the charisma to where I would spend my entire disposable income here

Could have been better
Pros:

We went there with our 2 kids to escpae a winterstorm, enjoy the pool etc. It's a nice hotel, with a few issues. Pool area was nice, no issue there. However, our room did not have hot water which is pretty major. When we when to the from desk and told the person working. She didn't care, she offfered maintenance, played dumb etc. We were already checking out so that wans't helpful. No discount on the room was offered, perhaps she might have offered free breakfast or somethinng to ackowledge that just isn't acceptable. I don't even think she offered an apology on behalf of the hotel. The other thing is they nickel and dime your for every little thing. Parking (in Elk Grove Village mind you), breakfast, WIFI!!! I haven't been to ta a hotel that charged for WIFI in years. I just expect more from a 4 start hotel This was a 3 star hotel experience at best, but even 3 start hotels have hot water.

Children running up and down hallways at 1:30 in the morning and the bed was very hard.
Pros:

The staff were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

I am handicapped and I use a walker. The handicap parking was not by the front doors. That parking was reserved for guests who pay for the overnight parking and it is first come first serve. The actual handicap parking was about 300 ft from the front doors in another parking lot. It was very difficult to find any parking and nothing close to the building.

Pros:

everything was great.

Cons:

The room always smelled of damp. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work very well. And the windows couldn't be opened. We had to keep the door to the corridor open all the time.
