very nice!
nothing
Camera spaziosa con due televisori!
Non c era il forno a microonde, fondamentale per chi viaggia con bambini.
The hotel has a great location on Public Square and is an easy walk to the stadiums and bars and restaurants in downtown Cleveland. They have really done a nice job of preserving the historic feel of the hotel, particularly in the lobby, while updating the rooms.
The bar and breakfast area was expensive for what you got, but otherwise I have nothing but nice things to say about Hotel Cleveland.
We had a great experience at Hotel Cleveland! The hotel is beautiful and our room was comfortable and spotless!
We had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Both were excellent (the bread pudding for dessert was delicious!)
Our server for dinner was Lily and breakfast was Jakeal (I don't think I'm spelling her name correctly, sorry.) Both were very attentive, friendly and made great recommendations on the menu!
Highly recommend both hotel and restaurant!
Excellent hospitality
Beautiful Hotel
“LARGEST” Room Suite previously had 1.5 bathrooms. This time barely 1 bathroom the size of a closet! Dirty cleaning rags left in bar sink. Toilet seat missing parts. NO wash clothes in room at all!! Bitchy and condescending front desk staff unfamiliar with room types and unapologetic. Refused to allow us to speak to manager and said none would set up a meeting with us. Refused to let us leave our car with valet after checkout to attend Guardians game unless paid additional nights fee for valet and again wouldn’t speak to tot General Manager as requested. The bar lobby is lovely and breakfast was good as was staff at both times. A significant change from prior bookings there. IDK if will be back…
I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The location is convenient, and the upgrades are beautiful, but that’s about where the positive things come to a screeching halt.
The air conditioning doesn’t work. Couldn’t get it lower than 75, even when the outdoor temperature got down to 70 degrees at night, so it’s not that the overall system was struggling because it was exceptionally hot outside. The elevators and common spaces were even worse, to the extent that I had the most severe asthma attack I’ve had in years.
The was mold in the shower that easily rinsed down the drain as I sprayed water on it. There’s no way it was even wiped, let alone scrubbed with cleaner.
We noticed odd things missing from our hotel room. Things just small enough that if you complained about it, you sound crazy. Think along the lines of candy bars, that were purchased, half a brand new pack of gum, shoelaces, q tips from our toiletry bag… nothing of actual value, but enough to be a noticeable inconvenience, and to make us feel violated that our belongings were rifled through.
Choose somewhere else unless you absolutely need to. Keep ALL of your things under lock. Wouldn’t be surprised if housekeeping would take the insoles out of your extra pair of shoes you left behind.
Room was in a great location at the end of the hall away from elevators. The bed was extremely comfortable.
The elevators were really slow, didn't see an option to take stairs but I'm sure they were around. The room was a little warm and took a while to cool.
Prior to arriving we had merged our bookings and received confirmation that we would stay in the same room. Prior to check in we called the hotel again and spoke to the supervisor who confirmed our reservations were merged and we would keep the room for our stay.
While out on Thursday we receive a notification that our new room was ready. After a painful conversation at the front desk we reluctantly moved rooms at the “sold out” hotel. We gave up a lake view for a courtyard view of a closed fountain. After moving rooms we noticed a few broken items in the room along with dirty construction glasses with a strap on the ground. We tried to contact the front desk who directed us to a manager. We called and left a voicemail however received no response.
Additionally while convenient to get to Huntington bank field, there is not much to do in the area alone at night due to the casino. If looking to stay downtown I would look elsewhere as you can have convenience and great service at other hotels in the area.
Location
I got double billed. I booked through bookings.com and paid in advance to books.com and the hotel charged my card after I checked out. This needs to be resolved.
Such a disappointment! Stayed 3 nights for a convention and the service both at the desk and in the restaurant was poor, 3 out of 4 elevators were broken (had to use the employee freight elevator to bring luggage down) and on the last night of our stay, the water to the entire hotel was shut off. We were given bottles of water to add to the toilet in order to flush. The only positive was the valet service company! Definitely avoid, especially for the cost.
Location was good.
We checked in at a very busy time and some of the staff you could tell were very uncomfortable and overworked. They were not very friendly.
