Tivoli Alvor Algarve - All Inclusive Resort

The adults only pool was excellent. This is where we spent most of the days when not at the beach.

Definitely not a five star, more like a3/4 star. Very little vegetarian choice, no effort to make any thing apart from regular food. Restaurant staff , particularly Roastic very poor service and chef totally inflexible.

I found the food and service excellent as we upgraded to premium on arrival. The site was larger than I expected but the staff were so helpful. I intend to return to this centre either towards the end of this year or next with my family.

The only improvement areas would be some higher production/professional shows in the evenings. Nothing to do after 10.30-11pm and scraping the buffet style starters and deserts in the al a cart restaurants.

Overall experience pretty good. We were there for a week. 'Train' to Alvor very useful. Room not cleaned one day but, to be fair, when we reported it, cleaner was there within 15 mins.

Steak restaurant best avoided; meals were cold. I sent mine back, asking for a fresh meal ... same meal came back, this time in a hot dish. It was supposed to be fillet steak, but most certainly wasn't. Service was poor. By this time, I had lost the will to live.

However ... I cannot speak highly enough of the service and food we received in the Carosello restaurant, with Chloe as front of house. She is a gem.

So ... overall view: the resort is good, but with some rough edges; Chloe and her staff made up for the deficiencies. I'd go back, but won't ever cross the portal of the steak restaurant again.

I went away in April 2026 with my Mrs and had the best experience. The location is brilliant with a beach in 5 min walk distance. The atmosphere around the resort is amazing with consistent waiters taking empty glasses and offering drinks and help if needed. The rooms are outstanding with nice balcony views and comfortable beds and cleanliness was never an issue with cleaners always staying on top of everything making the place spotless. The resort is perfect for every person with an adult only pool for less noise level and no children but 3 other pools to choose from if required whilst all being clean and amazing views in each. Place is a guarantied 10/10 very good for value. Also like to point out the 10/10 bar staff in providing every drink imaginable and one main staff member abdallah for the amazing chats and customer service he provided throughout the stay.

The resort is absolutely fantastic and the food is brilliant. The staff are so friendly, especially Abdallah at Shore! bar. He has made us feel very welcome and has been a friendly smiley face since we’ve been here ☺️ Would recommend this place to many people.

El trato del personal y el restaurante buffet impresionantes y sin colas.
La habitación muy grande y la insonorizacion (ya que hay eventos y música todo el día y noche) impecable, ni un solo ruído.
El spa, consta de una piscina y un jacuzzi tranquilos para poder relajarse ya que está prohibida la entrada a menores de edad.
También tenemos una piscina exterior exclusiva para adultos con bar, maravillosa también.

Travelled as a family of 4 (5 year old and a 2 year old).

Travelled in Easter school holidays so it was very busy with families but expected. Overall, we thought it was excellent value for money. We were fortunate to have excellent weather for the 8 days there - 1 day was cloudy, the rest was 22+ and sunny.

Staff were great throughout. 5/5.

Food was good. Had to book 3 days in advance for the restaurants - get released early hours of the morning 3 days ahead. Worth doing for mixing it up. Buffet was generally OK though and enough selection - we attended here 4 out of the 8 nights. High ceilings so you didn't feel like you were in a busy canteen like many hotels feel like. 4/5 rating.

Facilities and activities - 4.5/5. Plenty of stuff to do on site for children. Splash water park was great for the kids. When busy the main swimming pools can be crowded - out of school holidays I suspect this isn't a problem. There is an adult only pool also.

Accommodation - 4/5. We had block 13 which is near the splash park and kids activities. This worked very well for popping back to the room if needed. Room was spacious - we had a cot and the sofa turned into a big double. No noise as away from the evening entertainment. To note - they have put a temporary marquee up at the front for the evening entertainment. Yes it isn't the best, but without it, they wouldn't be able to offer the shows/mini disco. Grab a drink and just enjoy!

On a whole - the trip advisor average of 4.2/5 is probably about right.

We have done Ikos and Sani several times - obviously once you've been there, fulfilling expectations is near impossible, but we found this resort very suitable for our needs, budget friendly and it ticked a lot of boxes we wanted in the Easter school holidays. If the finer cracks were tidied up, nothing major (kids waterpark and activiites look dated - new paint and turf), then it would compete and the hotel could probably charge more than they do.

Amazing Hotel, loved everything about it, a lot of activities for the kids and adults, very clean and fresh rooms. Great staff- all helpful and great. My personal favourite- Eva- so attentive, helpful and smiles all the way- Rostlikov- the same- such a positive person, great personality, and Summer- remembered all our orders every time, bubbly person. Thank you guys! Would definitely return!

Honestly, I love this place, we’re here 4 adults and 3 children. This place is for everyone- lots of activities for both- adults and kids, hotel is nice and clean, can’t fault at all. Special shout out to my three favourite staff- Rostislov, Eva and Summer, - all of them very attentive, positive and brilliant people, wishing you all the best, you’re great! Thank you for everything:)

My mum and me have just returned from Tivoli after a seven nights stay. Overall the experience was enjoyable with amazing staff, who were always available to answer any questions and/ help when needed.
The only thing that would hinder me from rating this review as 5 star would be the house keeping. There had been times throughout our stay, housing keeping would not have provided a bottle of water for the room, particularly our last overnight stay. The cleanliness of floors would also be preventing this review to be rated as five. Whilst the floors seemed to of been brushed and mopped, the soles your feet would have been covered in dirt.
Overall positive stay but only downside would be be the poor cleaning of bedroom floors and no water provided in the bedrooms on occasions.
