My friends and I had previously stayed at this hotel for the Too Many Games convention and decided to rebook again this year since we had a nice experience in 2025. After this year there is no way we are going back.
The issues started when I didn't realize the first night after being very tired from flying in that my sheets had huge stains on them. I asked the front desk to please replace then when they came to clean but I'm shocked the staff decided to even use those when they should be discarded. I had also noticed that the hallways were very hot and stuffy which leads into the other issue I experienced secondhand.
When my friends arrived Friday they immediately noticed that their room was unbearably hot and the thermostat was stuck around 80. They asked on the way out that someone needed to go in and look at it as its too hot to sleep in there. After getting back late from the con they went back to their room and it was still super hot. One of them went to complain to the front desk and were told there was no techs still working and they had no other rooms available. They just kind of left it at that with no other assistance offered. Thankfully my room had a pullout in the couch so I told them just come sleep in my room that had AC. When they went back to the desk to ask for more sheets for my pull out, they were told that somehow there were no extra sheets available. So they pulled the sheets off their bed and brought them down the hallway to mine.
The next morning, after getting a later start than we wanted since we up late dealing with them not having a habitable room they were told a tech would come check it again. Which they did while they were using their room to shower and get dressed. He told them give it a bit it should be getting cooler. We went to go good food, came back and nope, still hot. The front desk person at least offered at this point to find a partner hotel but found they did have a room available. So we had to spend time Saturday morning moving their bags to a room on the 2nd floor which thankfully did have AC.
That experience along with other things like lots of litter outside, no lights on the stairs that come up from the parking lot which also you now have to PAY to park made the decision to never use this hotel again for the con an easy one. I see there are a lot of complaints on here about the AC/heat recently. Take them seriously as your room may be too hot or cold and they have no real interest in fixing it.
When we entered our room the thermostat said 77. We called front desk and they said someone would come up to check it. We left for dinner and upon our return, the room was 78 degrees so the front desk did move us to a nearby room. The rooms are large and nice. Bathroom was nice. The bar area and bartenders were nice. Front desk ladies were very helpful and nice. The only negative is having to pay for parking. This isn’t a downtown, big city hotel - so paying for parking is disappointing.
Nice good air quality
Like the body cream
I love the ambiance of the lobby, the size of my suite and especially my bathroom! I loved the cleanliness of the hotel and their breakfast is delicious.
Parking is too distant from the front door of the lobby. When you purchase the “breakfast included” it is false advertising…when I got to check in they gave me vouchers for breakfast that was $20 per person per day which confused me cause I was under the assumption that breakfast included means free breakfast as most people would especially when I paid extra for that accommodation. I also ordered room service one night and it took a hour to be delivered and it cane up in a brown bag packed in brown lunch boxes and the food was cold and the inside of my burger was pink and undercooked.
Don’t stay here unless you latch your doors. The staff is allowed to just enter your room whenever they want with no accountability. There is no expectation of privacy here. Don’t stay here!
—travelled here with a group of 6 co-workers…none of us had hot water for duration of 2 night stay
—toilet inoperable for duration of my 2 night stay…maintenance never came to fix despite 2 calls
—room reeked of mildew…had to request relocation
—no towels in my bathroom
—the only hotel in the area that charges for parking
—15 minute wait to check in due to nobody working front desk at 4pm on a Monday afternoon
—was promised a 20k point credit for my poor stay…despite 2 calls these points were never credited
—without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had
The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious
It was a hike from the elevator to the room, the shower, barely worked, the room was either freezing or hot, I was unhappy I had to pay for parking, and there is good free Wi-Fi available at hotels far cheaper than a Sheraton.
They charge for parking now. This was my last stay here.
Nice lobby bar for drinks excellent close to the attractions a nice place to stay!
Shower the water wasn’t hot not good at all if you like warm showers!
For the price, WiFi should be included. It is a bit ridiculous to pay that amount of money per night and then have to pay for WiFi.
Pleasant decor, cafe employees were very nice, the room was nicely appointed.
Front desk employees were simply mediocre, cafe folks were more customer ficused.Paying for parking was unclear, especially when arriving at night and not noticing the signs with this info due to the darkness, would have been helpful for front desk employees bto explain the parking.
Staff was outstanding. When the breakfast crew heard it was our mother's birthday - they went out of their way to make a surprise pancake and whipped cream "cake" and sing to her. Special thanks to chef Luis Guerra and the wait staff!
