Pros:

In need of a renovation.
Got given an upgrade although I’m not sure it was.
Room was very worn. Bathroom had bodge job repairs. Not sure why bin was on the toilet upon arrival?
Feel sorry for anybody using the gym in the basement as you have to go into the basement and it just feels like you’re going into a makeshift bunker. It’s also next to the car park.
Restaurant was good and breakfast was also good.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

A wonderful family celebration!
Pros:

Just returned from a family birthday celebration at Hilton Kensington Olympia. A truly very positive experience from arrival to departure. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful, as were the staff in the restaurant. And a huge shout out to Francesca for her warm welcome and attention during our stay. She made our stay even more enjoyable. She is a credit to Hilton. Thank you for .aking our stay and celebration so special especially for my Mom's special birthday.

Friendly, clean and comfortable. Great location for walking to the museums in Kensington etc.
Pros:

We arrived very early, but were warmly welcomed and able to go to our room. The room had everything we needed. Plus we could bring our dog. I liked that we were given a 'furry friend inside' door hanger to let people know we had a dog in the room. We had a nice large room. Nice to see the bathroom had a bath, face cloths, tissues. And there were plenty tea/coffee and water. I also like that the hotel had kept some of the original 1960s features.

Cons:

There could have been a few more plug sockets, although I recognise the building is a little dated (which I liked).

The hotel looks very old, the room was not welcoming at all, dirty, noisy. Definitely not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel in Kensington.

Pros:

The location of the hotel is very good, a short walk from the center. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel. Holland Park is within walking distance. There was a large selection for breakfast. Both hot and cold food. The room was quite cold, it was not possible to heat it. The rooms were cleaned every day. I really appreciate the friendliness. I asked for a late check out, as my mother got sick. The gentleman from the reception kept the room available for us until 5 pm without charge. Even though we were willing to pay for it. Very nice

Good location, nice hotel, but watch out for the additional charges for parking.
Pros:

Location is very good; the hotel is easy to find and is on a good bus route as well as being near Olympia Tube Station. The room wads fine for two or three nights.

Cons:

When booking through booking.com we looked for a hotel with parking and the hotel did, indeed, have parking. What we didn't realise (and to my mind it wasn't made clear on booking.com) was that parking costs £40.00 a night. We only found out about this when we arrived. Clearer signposting of the real costs would have been helpful.

Varmt vand tog evigheder om at komme.

Ingen strøm til mobil da stik på værelset var ikke-eksisterende. Hvordan skulle man lade sin telefon eller computer når man er der for arbejde??

Showergel var også helt tomt, ikke fyldt op.

Derudover er elevatoren afsindig langsom og konstant i brug. trapperne er 9/10 gange hurtigere.

Der var støv i flere hjørner af værelset.

Meget tynde vægge eller loft, kunne næsten følge med i hvad der foregik på alle værelser omkring mig.

Friendly helpful staff. Huge telly, comfortable bed. Very convenient for Olympia.

Cons:

Room 137 roadside, traffic noise, sirens etc on one of London’s arterial routes was loud. Fortunately after midnight it did calm down enough for a few hours sleep, before it started again early in the morning.

Shower screen glasses way too narrow, resulting in water all over the floor.

Decor generally tired, but overall it was a bargain and fantastically convenient for Olympia.
