Breakfast choices were adequate
I didn't like that I couldn't get any dairy alternative, as I am dairy intolerant so no dairy free milk.
Or any dairy free dessert on offer the nights we stay there or any available in the room.
Very good stopover enroute to the lakes from the South. Everything available on site, great parking, comfortable airy room with excellent shower.
Not a lot else nearby, but the location and convenience is its selling point.
Good location off M6 and plenty of parking.
Well the disabled chair on the shower needed really good clean or replaced. Beds were just ok but sweated as the mattress protector was one of the cheap plastic type. Husband had to remove his one from the bed.
Although restaurant has had a bit of a refurb since last stay l think there is a way to go to bring it up to the standard now needed for the rise in cost per night. The food prices for meals has certainly risen a lot but sadly not necessary the quality. Husband had to return prawn cocktail as it tasted horrible and rubbery. Was offered a different option but only slightly better quality. Been staying here for years but may have to look at different options now.
The restaurant was very good for the evening meal. The breakfast was good but not exceptional
Overall excellent experience for myself and my colleagues, friendly staff, clean rooms, perfect location for our needs, d food and service. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family

Hidden gem - it’s absolutely perfect for a north to south stop off. Great value. Good honest pub grub. Great for kids, play area family rooms. To think of the people who stay at a crap days inn at services when this is so close to mway!!
Room clean, tidy and modern.
The breakfast was not served till 07.00am, far to late for me, paid for breakfast, but couldn't have any. A bit more flexibility wouldn't go a miss. Very over priced!

Great location for Chillington Hall.
But really late breakfast, doesn’t start until 8, with no possible earlier provision. (Like leaving cereal or fruit out) and literally the most u friendly and jobsworth man manager. He was unreal and I actually thought he was being amusing he was so unfriendly.
The man manager who obviously hated his job, hates customers and infected everyone he worked with. He was like a comedy sketch he was so in accommodating and actually he spoilt our stay there.
