Hotel Casa Encantada

We loved everything about this lovely B&B. Location ambience staff comfort . Couldnt have found anywehere nicer in Patzcuaro and so close to the Central Square. Breakfasts were generous and delicious.

My stay included breakfast, which helped us start the day without having to think about it. The place is also pet-friendly, so we could travel as a pack and share a very comfortable room together.

Everything was so tranquil and inviting. The breakfasts are delicious. We will go again!

This was our third stay at Casa Encantada, and we keep returning because it is perfect in every way. Location could not be better, the decor is beautiful, very comfortable rooms and beds, and best of all is the staff, Luis, Anny, and Samantha. It's all due to the owner and resident, Victoria, who makes this all happen.

From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming, so friendly and helpful. They answered many of our questions and assisted with tours and any travel arrangements.
Our room was so lovely; spacious, clean , beautifully decorated with special touches.
We used the fireplace every day as room was chilly but warmed up quickly.

How well it was maintained and how efficient the staff was. Everyone was so polite and helpful

Lovely place and people, location- location, nice breakfast, spacious rooms. The weak spot is the internet, not ideal for working, sometimes not even good enough for browsing. parking spaces in front of the hotel are limited.

Casa Encantada is an oasis. We have been returning to it for the past few winters- the hotel and also the apartments. The place is beautiful, gorgeous art, great location, fabulous staff! The breakfast (included) is delicious! And the morning conversations and connections with other visitors delightful.

The garden courtyard is a lush, peaceful place to relax and renew.

Victoria Ryan has lived in Mexico for decades and is the perfect host to connect you to local highlights, restaurants, events. The hotel offers incredible massage and fabulous tour guides.

Patzcuaro is a sweet and welcoming destination. I feel safer here than I do in the states. Even venturing out in the surrounding villages with a guide, I feel so comfortable. I'm frequently struck by the friendliness and warm welcome of people here.

A perfect stay: it feels like a former estate made up of lush courtyards, and all spaces inside & out, filled with authentic cool Mexican trappings, artwork, or gardens. Amazing value; fun/devoted staff & owner; no better location; this hotel makes you excited to be returning to it after every venture day or night.

This is the fourth year I have visited Pátzcuaro and the third time I have stayed at Casa Encantada. Besides being clean, beautiful, and comfortable, Victoria and the staff make this a home away from home. They are always welcoming, ready to make a recommendation or give assistance. Pátzcuaro is a lovely, safe place to visit and staying here makes it even more enjoyable.

This wonderful boutique hotel was recommended by a friend who winters in Patzcuaro. The rooms are unique and well appointed with comfortable beds and beautiful artwork. The staff is amazing and the breakfasts were outstanding. The location is ideal, just off the main square with plenty of excellent restaurants, shops, and art galleries. We will be back!

Great location. Rooms comfortable. Nice ambiance. Wonderful breakfast. Very close to the plaza and great shopping. Nicely decorated. The owner and her little dog are priceless. I would return.

This is a beautiful property with excellent made-to-order breakfast. All the staff (except the general manager) were really kind, thoughtful and responsive. I was sick half of the time in this hotel and the young assistant manager brought me a herbal liquid to help me. The night crew were really helpful.

Casa Encantada continues to impress! We just returned for a 2nd visit (5 years apart) and Victoria's staff and their wonderful service remain top notch. Rooms of various sizes and amenities are clean, well kept and the morning breakfast included is as good (or better) than most restaurants in the area. Great location near the jardin and plaza. Hotel was quiet and bed was very comfortable.

The free breakfast is excellent! The staff is very professional and friendly.
