Hyatt Regency Algiers Airport

I was double charged for a one night stay. When I tried to get the issues rectified, no one was prepared to help or took responsibility. When you leave the hotel, no ones responds to you emails or phone calls. Also, the bathroom had no soap.

Overall very satisfied. Ibrissem was very professional at the check in and also Marwa at the check out, both speedy and smooth.
The 6th door housekeeper nour al Houda answers to all my needs with a smile and the room Was well done.
Mourad the shuttle’s driver was helpful and kind .
The whole associates I interact with , were very helpful and very nice to answers with a smile . (10out 10 )

Very very unfriendly and rude staff. Only the cleaning staff is doing their job properly and are nice . There are far better hotels than this one.

Absolutely appalling customer service. They double charged my bank card without me being aware and now refusing to return the extra amount. This is despite me raising a complaint with the guest services. In addition to this, the customer service was appalling and basic items such as soap were not available during my stay.

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Airport in Algiers for 4 days, it was a family gathering for a wedding in the City of Algiers.
The hotel is brand new, the rooms are comfortable and modern, with large TV screens and nice layout, the furniture allows plenty of storage space.
The restaurant / buffet is large and nicely laid out, the food is very good with a variety of choice for breakfast.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, there is a walkable bridge connecting the main terminal to the lobby. Although the close proximity, we weren’t bothered by planes talking off or landing, we could barely hear them.
There is a gym, as well as an indoor swimming pool.
The staff is helpful and nice, but not very organized: our room was not ready upon check in, despite the fact that we arrived at 7PM… There was a shortage of towels for a whole day, in the bathrooms as well as the swimming pool.
Despite these little inconveniences, I can highly recommend this newly built hotel, it really met our expectations.

Poor overall guest experience from pre-arrival to onsite. For context, arrived onsite in distress from missing luggage by airline.

General impression of poorly trained staff across departments including front desk, concierge, F&B, security teams with no tact to the point of being offensive, no respect, no courtesy, poor communication skills. Competent senior staff, department heads stepped in for damage control, to remedy shortcomings, cover gap between actual and guest expectation.

Hotel seemed adequately staffed especially during day time. However, during busier times at front and concierge desks, staff not from those two desks appeared detached/ idle with no apparent ability to multi task to relieve stress points.

Countless missed opportunities for value adding and showcase Hyatt hospitality; staff appeared untrained to help guests in extraordinary situations such as mine. No attempt to provide assistance despite request.

Security team positioned at main entrance sorely lacked welcoming, helpful attitude. They look like indifferent, bored, sleepy, shabby, outsourced workers. They did not help to lift bigger luggage for security scanning.

Communicated findings to management team via email while onsite and had immediate conversations with supervising team. With limited time on my part, I was unable to engage further conversations with them at their invitation.

Also declined complimentary enhancements to uplift experience to preserve integrity for this review.

Room with poor noise insulation. Noise from occasional loud guests at corridor, adjoining room, airplanes taking off.

Final two words: Never again.

Très bonne expérience. Accueil au top, service de chambre et service de ménage très pro (petit clin d’œil à Leila).
Tous le personnel de la réception en passant par le restaurant ainsi que le personnel s’occupant de l’entretien des chambres étaient super gentil.
Chambre super agréable spacieuse très bien équipée avec une grande télévision comme à la maison.

A great hotel to stay at when visiting Algiers and need to be in the airport area.

As cabin crew this is not my first trip in this beautiful hotel . This time I stayed over 20 days and since we are changing hotel today I can’t leave this place without mentioning personally the people , the staff that are the treasure of this hotel . Personally thanks and my compliments to Mr Nabil in F&B for his amazing Breakfast team : Rania , Dahbia, Abdelrahmane, Ahmed ,all these people made me smile every morning. Nothing was hard work for them they were going out of their way to please my requirements . Hospitality at its best !

All these people made everything to accomodate our stay and they are a credit to your hotel .

After nearly two years at the Hyatt, I can truly say I always felt at home — far more than just a guest. Every single member of the staff is remarkable for their kindness and professionalism, and whenever I had the chance to share feedback, it was always full of praise.

A very special mention goes to Ms. Mounira, whose precious help and responsiveness allowed me to overcome a particularly difficult situation. Her dedication and outstanding sense of service are truly exemplary.

I would also like to commend Mr. Anis Akl, General Manager, who despite his high responsibilities remains close to his guests, often present on the ground and always attentive. A true example of leadership.

Kudos to the entire Hyatt team for maintaining such an exceptional level of excellence that makes all the difference!

The staff were extremely welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.
The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed.
The location was perfect—close to the airport & quiet and relaxing.
Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and excellent value. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!
