The workers were very respectful and welcoming.
The food is terrible. Breakfast only served pork; there wasn't much choice for customers who don't eat pork. Dinner was also terrible; the food received the lowest rating.
The location is unbeatable for us. Especially if you have a room with a sea view. Just by the main street and close to many attractions.
The simple fika and dinner being included is very convenient if you are with kids or elderly. Nothing complicated or fancy but good enpugh to keep you nourished. The only issue ia the size of the dining room though.
The sauna opening hours limited to 10 pm. I wish it were 11 pm at least, after a long touristic and tiring day. I also wish they had better kettle or coffee machine in the room.
L'Hotel é ubicato nel centro ed é affacciato sul porto, la vista dall'Hotel é molto bella spazia dal mare alle montagne dall'Hotel si vede pure il ponte che collega l'altra sponde dov'è situata la Cattedrale Artica. La colazione é a buffet ed é molto variata.
Die Lage und die Aussicht über den Hafen Richtung Eismeerkathedrale sind einmalig schön.
Beautiful hotel right on the harbour edge. Was a great location to people watch and enjoy the views.
Room was a really good size, bed was really comfy, staff were friendly and the food was good.
Had a buffet breakfast, fika & buffet dinner including with our booking which was well worth it consider the price of food in Norway.
Ideally needed a chest of drawers or at least bedside cabinet with drawers as had a lot of layers of clothing with us given the cold temperatures. Could do with slightly more hanging space as well as had big coats & salopets which needed to hang and dry after we’d been out in the snow.
Could also do with a bench outside to sit and remove crampons from boots before entering the hotel.
Really lovely hotel, welcoming. The afternoon fika (cake and tea) was a nice touch for the end of the day. Our family room was spacious. Hot water and good pressure. To note, the lift goes to the 6th floor and we walked a set of stairs to the room. We opted for the evening buffet and advised in advance we were all vegetarian, and there was soup and a main course together with salads that were vegetarian (I recommend advising diet requirements in advance to be sure of several options). All very tasty. Excellent location for the 7min walk to the Havila ships and a wander around the village. We were able to store our bags until our late night ship departure as there is 24hr reception.

Sofa bed is out dated, hard to sleep, it should be replaced
The location is perfect and I had a great room overlooking the harbour and could sit comfortably and watch the harbour activity and changing weather.
