San Diego Marriott Mission Valley

Overall, The property is absolutely stunning. It's nestled in between the hills and valley side of San Diego. It is also right in front of a large shopping area that is very upscale and beautiful. The staff from start to finish was absolutely amazing in assisting with anything that we needed. The property is very clean and elegant. I absolutely loved the Continental breakfast as well on this property and if you get a higher for the pool view is absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed my first time visiting California and specifically San Diego, Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality!!!!!

Stayed here while visiting some family in San Diego. Really great place, the pool and gym are very clean and up kept nicely. Breakfast was delicious and accommodating, don't miss out on their AYCE breakfast. Overall a great experience, come here the next time you visit San Diego!! My family and I will be back.

I thought this place was perfect for me and my family. The location is close to various good restaurants that are walkable and provides a lot of amenities. It is also close to the San Diego Zoo and Seaworld which was great for the kids. The hotel rooms were perfectly clean and the staff were exceptionally nice. The outdoor swimming pool is kept clean and has a lot of seating areas to relax. The overall complex of the building is beautiful and it is definitely worth the price that you pay.

The pool at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley is absolutely stunning. The environment was very clean, spacious, and surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs perfect for relaxing under the sun. The atmosphere feels like a resort, with palm trees, great music, and a calm, welcoming vibe. The service is truly exceptional; every staff member is friendly, attentive, and eager to make your experience unforgettable. Whether you need fresh towels, a drink by the pool, or local recommendations, they go above and beyond with genuine smiles and care.

Large Marriott with lots of amenities.
Pretty decent restaurant on site for dinner (and breakfast). Clean rooms with all the Marriott bits you'd expect. I was coming through on business and it worked out great.
Location is fine and it appears to be in the middle of a lot commercial buildings/malls but not super walkable.

Guests forced to navigate Property without Safety Protection in place around construction Activity to find how to park NO BELL CAPTAINS Guests forced to unload Baggage find a Cart and deliver to Room, Guest forced to PAY FOR SELF-PARKING but told on Espedia ALL COST, FEES AND COSTS INCLUDED IN PRICE QUITED; fSelf-Parking was far from Entrance competing with Construction Vehicles and Activity with NO SAFETY SIGNAGE IN PLACE; INSIDE SERVICES Not ready for Prime Time: Disabled Guest not allowed to Check-In Earlier than 4pm; my Favorite Drink is Caipirinha, Baar did not stock Cachaca Liquor and Bartender did not know how to make it. Drinks served in plastic cups; No Pool Bar and Food Service; No Sales Staff in small Snack/Gift Store with VERY LIMITED SELECTIONS; Ice Machine dirty and hidden at end of hall; there was no Entertainment in Bar/:ounge or LobbyAreas. Clean comfortable bed

Well, I came here on a work trip with my boyfriend. Not blaming my work at all this places has amazing reviews on google and trip advisor for some reason but yeah… not a nice stay at all, as seen in the photos there was a lot of damage to the room when we checked in and the AC has a motion censor, soooo we couldn’t come back to a cold room after dinner. On top of that, the front desk person did not answer my question clearly OR if she did she mumbled and I thought I understood her. I asked why they were taking my card since my work paid for it online and she mumbled something then said “—taxes and if there is damage to the room” so I said to myself oh okay a deposit then. Turns out she charged my card. I called the front desk and she said “they never charge the card that booked online, only the one that comes when you check in” what? Yeah I’m getting the money back from work but it would have been nice to know so I could call my boss and have her reach out to them before I gave my card. Anyway, would not recommend, now that I know the price for the room, it is NOT worth your money. (I copied and pasted from my Yelp review.)
