Very approachable and communicative response by Nicolai.

The guest room was very kindly upgraded for free when we arrived, and it was tidy and spacious. Tea and coffee facilities, a microwave, fridge and TV. Very close to everything we needed and right down the road from a lovely pub called the Nags Head. Absolutely planning to come back again. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend.

Helpful staff and condition of the property was very good. Chose a small room and it's small but still equipped with extra like plates, knives and forks, snacks, microwave and a small refrigerator and a small table and a chair. Overall, the small room still provided comfort and convenience. Bathroom is small but clean and with bathroom essentials. The room is next to the street. It's quiet enough in December but could hear the noise from the street easily. A couple pairs of earplugs were provided in the room while we stayed.

The room was nice and had a fridge, microwave and kettle which was a pleasant surprise. We stayed there for the festival, it was whisper quiet and had a comfy bed, what more could you need after a long day dancing!

Jeg hadde glemt at det var et "guesthouse",
så jeg glemte å ta kontakt med verten,
men verten konntaktet meg!, lenge før jeg ankom,
så alt løste seg!

Var litt mye støy fra trafikken etter min smak, men jeg er vant til total stillhet, så hvis du til vanlig bor langs en motorvei, er det nok dødsstille for deg her..

Likte godt at senga var god, og at det var både kjøleskap og mikro på rommet!
Buss og bensinstasjon under 100 meter unna!

Nicolai is easily accessible and has great suggestions on what to do in town, including a lovely walk along the canal. The room was perfect for my needs and provided a safe comfortable place to stay during my UK adventures.

This is basic, great value for money accommodation tgg heats well located. Spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed and a bit more, too, including a microwave, dishes, cutlery and a mini-fridge. Bed was comfy, shower was good. Room was quiet. Free off-road parking. Hospitality tray was generous too. We chose the small double which was compact, but was great for what we needed. My only criticism was that there was no mirror over the desk/dressing table, but there was a mirror that you could stand up and use. Friendly greeting on arrival. Location was great too. About 15 minute walk to Reading City Centre as bd less than that to the train station. We’d definitely stay again.

Der Service ist sehr freundlich, man erhält viele praktische Hinweise und Tips für den Aufenthalt in Reading. Ich bin mit meiner Toschter deutlich verspätet angekommen aber sofort freundlich begrüßt worden. Das Zimmer war geräumig und gemütlich. es ging zum Garten und war ruhig. ich habe die Zeit genossen. Wenn ich wieder nach Reading komme werde ich wenn möglich wieder in Amherst Reading übernachten.

The room was comfortable, Nikolai is very welcoming and made the stay very pleasant. Definitely would stay again. Within walking distance of the town center so well placed too
