Pleasant stay in a picturesque rural setting. The town is, unfortunately, in economic decline.
Pros:

Comfortable, well-equipped room. Self-checkin (required a call to hotel answedtring service.)

Cons:

No staff (at least on Mon-Tues). Most restaurants in Dunsmuir closed on Mon-Tues, even in season.

First class hotel in historic town
Pros:

Lovel hotel in historic town. Room was spacious, quiet, had quality linens, and was tasteful.

This was a special stay for my wife and I 25th wedding anniversary. We would like to thank Rochell.
Pros:

We ate at the local restaurants walking distance.

We did not like that we had to leave.

Overall was comfortable for one night.
Pros:

The hotel provided the code and we entered, self-entry, easy access. The room was cozy, small but had everything, even a little kitchen.

Cons:

The view of our room 03 was a wall, it was not pleasant.

Comfortable and clean
Pros:

This hotel was quite lovely on the inside. It looks like they took a lot of care and consideration into the furnishings and fittings. We enjoyed our stay even though only one night. Was also nice that they had a little coffee bar downstairs, as well as fixings for some oatmeal in the morning if you desired

Cons:

Loved the cute little store that was downstairs, just a little disappointed it was not open while we were there.

Pros:

The hotel is beautifully restored and the rooms are thoughtfully decorated with attention to small details that carefully and elegantly connected the flow of the whole presentation. From the coffee heating pot that did not driop or burn one's hand to the placement of towels and the comfortable spacing of furniture, the room was peaceful and lovely. We did not have breakfast but were grateful it could be available.

Cons:

Stairs were difficult.

The Nostalgia mixed with modern upgrades! The gift shop is a great touch! None of this would have been a perfect stay without the host ….Rachell!
