I was a bit disappointed by some aspects, particularly given that it is marketed as a “wellness resort.” At breakfast, there were no gluten-free options available, which felt like a significant oversight for a place focused on health and wellbeing. Additionally, the only healthy drink option was freshly squeezed orange juice. I would have expected a wider variety, such as detox juices or other nutritious beverages.

Another downside is the location. While the setting is serene, it is quite far from Tbilisi, and arranging transportation, especially taxis can be difficult and inconvenient.

Preislich fand ich es zu hoch dann von Spa hatte man gerade gar nichts. erstens da die Sauna defekt war und zweitens das man alles bezahlen musste um überhaupt was vom Spa erlebniss zu haben, ausserdem gab es nicht einmal einen Pool. Schon sehr endteuschend. Fahrer war sehr gestresst und das merkte man sofort. Beim Check-in viel zu wenige Informationen.

The basic facilities were not available - for about 36 hours of our stay there we did not have hot water or heating.

We chose Bioli expecting rest, fresh air, and comfort – especially considering the positioning of the hotel as a wellness retreat)Unfortunately, the reality was very disappointing.

The biggest issue was the mattress in the cottage. It was absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this level. The mattress was old, extremely uncomfortable, squeaky, and you could literally feel the springs inside. Sleeping on it was impossible. We ended up sleeping in the armchair because the bed was unbearable. In the hospitality business, mattresses are not optional decor – they are the core of the guest experience. They must be replaced regularly. These urgently need to be changed.

The TV was very outdated and the remote control didn’t work properly. Small detail, but again – at this price point, this should not happen.

The minibar contained a small bottle of Hennessy priced at 75 GEL, maybe it was expired, because after drinking (I took literally three sips) it, I got severe food poisoning and was sick for two days. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about quality control and guest safety.

The billiard lounge also needs attention. The cue was in embarrassing condition and clearly should have been replaced a long time ago. These are not expensive updates, especially for a hotel charging premium rates.

However, the overall experience does not justify the price at all. There is no sense of customer loyalty. I was celebrating my birthday, and unlike many hotels that offer even a small gesture (a card, a dessert with a candle, a small compliment), nothing was offered. I had to order dessert myself and ask for a candle.

Bioli promotes itself as a place for rest and recovery, but without basic comfort (a proper mattress, safe minibar items, functioning equipment), that promise simply doesn’t hold.

At this price level, guests expect quality maintenance and attention to detail.
