Disappointing stay — small rooms, broken fixtures, and a AC that didn’t work
Pros:

I chose Le Meridien Frankfurt over another hotel I had already booked, on the understanding that I’d get a comparable rate. I also made clear at check-in that I did not want a small room. Unfortunately, the stay went downhill from there.

Despite booking a specific room category, I was given a much smaller room than expected. I was told everything else was fully occupied and that I’d be moved the next day. Since it was late, I checked in — only to return that night and find the bathroom door broken and the curtains impossible to close properly. Between the light and the state of the room, I barely slept. The front desk again told me nothing else was available.

The next day I had to call repeatedly before my room was finally changed. The new suite was indeed larger, but the air conditioning didn’t work — so my second night was no better than the first. Two nights of poor sleep left me unwell by the time I returned home.

A convenient place to stay
Pros:

Location: Convenient, 5 mins walk from Frankfurt Main
Room: Junior Suite in Palais Wing. Ample space for 3 adults + 3 luggage. Good AC. Nice bedroom slippers.
Cleanliness: Spotless
Service: The young gentleman who checked us in was extremely helpful and polite.
Breakfast: Good variety and delicious
Security: During my stay, I noticed that the guest room floors could be accessed without the use of an access card. I hope the hotel will consider reviewing its current security measures.
