Very rustic, quaint hotel built on walkways. Rooms are large with decent bathrooms ( Stone Room). Two swimming pools the infinity is by far the best- good location for crab markets and restaurants and right next to National Park entrance. Breakfast is ok I think the food is franchised out we didn’t eat there in the evening but the staff only speak basic English so communication is difficult.
Really lovely hotel friendly and helpful staff, the room was large, clean and comfortable. Beautiful scenery all around very relaxing to stay here. Just a small complaint it does take quite a while to get a coffee in the morning especially if it was busy, maybe a coffee machine would help and I would have appreciated water coolers around the hotel instead of leaving water bottles in the rooms but this is just my opinion.
This hotel is well maintained, the team are helpful and professional, the rooms are large and clean, the food is decent with a wide variety to suit all palates and well priced, they have two large pools with lots of sun loungers, and the setting is a tropical paradise. The staff at the spa are highly skilled and we had one of our best massages and facials outside of the UK.
This resort was the highlight of our quick visit to Kep! Loved the fact it was an eco lodge and it definitely met every expectation! The property was lush and close walking distance to the beach and crab market.
Reception was excellent. Manout was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He helped coordinate our accommodations via email and was very responsive.
My husband and I loved our villa (V6) with our private balcony and outdoor bathroom. The hammock was our favorite spot to relax.
The restaurant had the best food! The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a variety of Western and Eastern cuisines topped with an egg station. It also had the most amazing sunset views.
The spa was lovely as well! Can’t beat the prices. We opted for the Khmer massage package with the foot and face massages. Wow! What an experience. Definitely came out new people.
My only remark is I wish staff wore name tags so I could write who to thank! Staff was excellent and everyone very friendly.
Overall a great stay, especially for the value!
Lovely hotel in the jungle area adjacent to Kep National Park. Amazing views from the restaurant/bar area. Raised wooden walkways to rooms make great viewing areas to watch the monkeys. Extremely peaceful location.
Kep Crab market a short walk away with numerous eateries for great fresh seafood.
We had a lovely room with direct access to one of the pools. Very good service and menu choices at the restaurant.
Perfect place to unwind and chill out.
Lovely hotel surrounded by jungle, large clean rooms, helpful staff, 2 large pools. Food on evening was lovely but breakfast was a bit of a let down. Food in the warmers was cold and not much choice compared to other hotels we have stayed in this holiday. Would definitely stay again
Lovely resort, good facilities and views in a great location - with a friendly team on hand - make for good times at fair value
The accommodations were so relaxing and comfortable! I absolutely love the pools! Both are excellent! The massage at the spa was also a wonderful experience!
We stayed in two connecting rooms with a terrace offering a stunning ocean view. The rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms very comfortable. While the facilities have a slightly older appearance, the beautiful natural surroundings more than make up for it. The breakfast buffet is extensive and offers plenty of choice.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Only a small note—the cocktails at the pool bar were fairly basic, but I was more than happy to enjoy a beer instead.
We arrived planning to stay just for one night. But when we explored the grounds and found how cool the hotel was, we asked if we could stay for two nights. We are so glad we did. We had such a relaxing time. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was just peaceful. It was a great break from the noise, crowds, and concrete of the city. Highly recommend Verenda Natural Resort.
I loved staying here. It's gorgeously designed and almost inside a national park. The staff were very kind and helpful! Monkeys came to our private balcony and we could see the ocean from our bed. The pools are lovely and the breakfast was excellent.
I wish the cable channels were more stable, but would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We stayed at the Veranda 14 years ago and were thrilled to go back. An amazing hotel with the biggest bathroom ever and our room was so spacious and super private with sea views. Lovely staff and the pools were incredible, especially the infinity pool looking straight out to the sea. Loved the Secret restaurant and dining here was great with such an awesome view. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Just beautiful
One of the most wonderful resorts I have stayed in. The property is amazing. Walking from our room to the pool, spa, and restaurant felt like we were walking through the jungle. The daily breakfast was fantastic. The service throughout our stay was top notch. We will definitely stay here again when we visit this area in the future.
Our stay here was the highlight of our entire Asia trip. Some of the best food, especially the breakfast! The pool and facilities were so nice we didn't want to leave the resort. The view is also breathtaking. It's a short distance to the open markets, Kep beach, and other local attractions. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful.
Had a great stay at Veranda Natural Resort in Kep. It’s tucked away up in the hills with a real jungle vibe – peaceful, green, and full of nature. Don’t be surprised if you spot geckos, monkeys, or other little visitors around the place — they’re part of the setting and add to the experience.
My room was big, clean, and decorated with traditional Cambodian touches, which I really liked. The staff were super friendly — especially Mr. Munot at the front desk, who was always around to help out and even arranged some local tours for me.
The restaurant staff were warm and welcoming too. Breakfast had a decent variety — nothing fancy, but tasty and enough to start the day. That said, I did think the Secret Restaurant prices were a bit high for what you get.
All in all, it’s a great spot to chill and get close to nature. If you like quiet, leafy surroundings with a touch of adventure, this place is worth checking out.
A family with two small children, we had a lovely stay at this hotel, beautifully designed in wood and stone and nestled in the hillside jungle.
It is quiet and comfortable, has spacious rooms with terraces, a restaurant with a spectacular sea view and two beautiful swimming pools including an infinity pool with a stunning sunset view.
The staff were kind and helpful.
There is plenty to do on site and nearby. Kep is a great location, which you can reach by train from Phnom Penh. We recommend outings to the nearby Rabbit Island (check out Simone's restaurant) and to the beautiful town of Kampot.
We really enjoyed the breakfast and the view from the restaurant. We also like the natural settings and the environmental friendly structure of the resort. We also enjoyed the local market nearby and the fresh crabs sold and crooked on the spot.
An idyllic setting with delightful staff. Two pools were very well maintained and in beautiful settings. Our accommodation was extremely generous with fabulous views over the gardens and the sea. Breakfast was provided to suit all tastes and was very well presented and served as a buffet. Overall a wonderful place to spend a few stays. Thoroughly recommend!
We stayed here for 3 nights. We booked 2 stone rooms which were very spacious with nice big bathrooms and good size outdoor space overlooking the pool.
They had an extensive food and drink menu that was reasonably priced and the breakfast buffet was very good with lots of Asian options. They had soya milk which was a bonus for us.
We liked the infinity pool best- very comfy sun loungers and a lovely view. The cocktails by the pool were a bit strong for us (first time I’ve ever complained of a cocktail being too strong 😂)
It was a 10 minute walk to the crab restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It took us 2.5 hours to get there from Phnom Penh airport and we had a nice relaxing 3 days.
They do the best coffee and the best fresh coconuts!
