Very welcoming and accommodating in case you arrive early! Very beautiful place and safe! The beach by the hotel was very calm!

Beach front, beautiful views, great ocean, clean, neat, the only issue I had was with some prices on their food and the flies.

Best hotel to stay in Corn Island. Food is delicious and beach is amazing.

The Hotel is OK, a little old but OK. Now the restaurant service is a mess!! Besides being expensive, the service is very bad. Every time we ate there it took 1 and a half hours from the moment we sat down on the table to the time the food finally came!!! It seemed like you had to order your lunch right after finishing your Breakfast, that way probably it would be ready by lunchtime.

Liked the property and bar staff at the beach. Had quick service to repair toilet. Had a few issues with communication amongst staff. Shuttle was requested early due to early flight. This was not passed on to driver as we expected. We had to take a taxi instead. Rooms were to be ready early as communicated through whatsapp communications. This did not happen until we complained.

The property and location are fantastic. Very clean and inviting when you arrive, and there is space to move around, with large shared patios out front. The staff were all incredible and this is what really made the stay enjoyable. Helpful, kind, friendly, honest.
Though, it felt quite expensive for what you get. You pay for the proximity to the beach. The restaurant and drinks were very expensive. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room as well.

Overall, i would recommend Arenas, just be aware of the cost.

Strong sewer smell beside the property.
Our room had a hole in the floor by the toilet. I could see into the ground below.
Tin roof on property meant that rain was very loud. Coconuts dropped onto roof several times in the night waking us up.
Walls were paper thin - I could hear everything my neighbours were doing.
Standing water below the cabin.
Beach was filled with black flies. I have bites over a week later from them.

Stunning beach and calmest water. Great food. Best staff. All of them were friendly, kind and helpful. Hot plentiful big clean showers. Peaceful island. Many restaurants. Affordable seafood. Only caveat was that getting there took four flights including a layover in Managua.

The property is a typical Caribbean wooden beach house with bungalows. It’s kept really clean, nice stuff and beautiful beach front bar and restaurant.

I do not like to make long complaints but I believed or I’m almost sure, that my two watches that were on top of my backpack were stolen at the hotel, I was traveling alone and because of that reason I didn’t want to say anything also the way the staff treated since the beginning, just very arrogant for the most part, the staff should make you feel comfortable they should use room cards instead oh that bracelet, being asked every single time is annoying cause they scare you won’t pay, anyway I lost my two watches and a black pant, definitely I’m not staying at this hotel, I want to stay in a place I feel comfortable asking questions, I don’t know if I didn’t look like a certain profile they used to.

They have a nice beach and bars but the service was horrible, it took forever for the waitress to come over, many times, I ended up going up to the bar to order and even then, it was slow getting my food or drinks. The bars are also quite loud and we could hear them even though we were in the room furthest away.

TBH it seems like the workers simply didn’t care all that much about the customers as most of our concerns/questions were met with disinterest.

On a positive note, for those who stayed at the hotel and complained about not having hot water, there is, just turn the handle to the right. They also let us check-in early which was nice.

Amazing beach, great bar and restaurant on site. Costumer service is great, would definitely come again.
