Cómodo y muy bien equipado
Pros:

Departamentos impecables, todo prolijo, nuevo, limpio y de calidad. Muy buen desayuno, excelente atención.

Cons:

La piscina no está en el mismo lugar que las habitaciones y departamentos, hay que caminar varias cuadras o ir en auto. Falta remodelar y arreglar bastante el predio de Villa Curiel

Arrogante en perverse hoteleigenaar
Pros:

Ze zeggen dat ze een zwembad hebben maar niets is minder waar. Je moet 10 minuten lopen voor een zwembad waar ze een akkoord mee hebben

Cons:

We hadden voor 4 nachten geboekt. De laatste nacht zijn we met uit het hotel gezet. Er wordt enkel tussen 8u en 9u ontbijt aangeboden toen ik om 9.03u vroeg achter ontbijt was dit niet meer mogelijk, op zich ok, maar toen ik vroeg om gewoon alleen een paar boterhammen te krijgen was dit niet mogelijk. De hoteleigenaar kwam me opzoeken en zei dat ik de poort van de parking had laten openstaan. Ik excuseerde me hiervoor maar hij zei dat ik de huisregels niet had gerespecteerd, dat ik geen boterhammen had mogen vragen. Dat was onbeleefd volgens hem. Hij zette me met mijn 2 zonen aan de deur. Hij belde de politie die dit ook redelijk absurd vonden, probeerden dat we toch nog mochten blijven maar hij was onredelijk. Het verhaal was jammer genoeg nog niet gedaan. We hadden al wel bij reviews gelezen dat hij ongewenst gedrag vertoonde maar dat toen we zagen dat hij stiekem foto’s van ons nam en de politie vroeg of hij deze wou verwijderen, zagen we dat hij foto’s van me had in mijn sportbh. De hoteleigenaar bespiedt je met camera’s. De politie zei dat we hiervoor een klacht konden indienen. Later lazen we in reviews op Google, op tripadvisor en op Booking gelijkaardige verhalen. Zolang je je perfect aan de vele regels houdt, lijkt het perfect maar eens je per ongeluk een airco vergeet af te zetten of een poort vergeet te sluiten, wordt de eigenaar gek en zet hij je zonder enige communicatie op straat. Hij bespiedt je het ganse verblijf op zijn camera. Bovendien maakt hij ongepast me foto’s.

Great stay at Villa Amalie
Pros:

We had a great stay at Villa Amalie. Royer, one of the owners, is super friendly and enthusiastic. He picked us up from the airport personally. During breakfast he always made time for a quick chat or to answer our questions. The other owner Paul helped us by making the reservation for the Klein Curaçao trip, including transfer, which was nice.

The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the dogs, Irene and Daisy, around at breakfast every morning. The rest of the staff were also really kind, and breakfast was prepared with great care every day. The villa is nearby Willemstad, walking distance. All in all a positive experience!

Great experience, lovely staff and good cost benefit
Pros:

Friendly staff, comfortable room and breakfast was ok (maybe will be good have some options to make- example instead of having yogurts we would prefer to have more eggs). Loved to have coffee and water machine! Location was a walk distance from some restaurants but at night can be a bit strange but nothing happened to us. So experience overall was pretty good!

Cons:

Cleaning wasn’t everyday, for beach places it can be annoying.

Nejlepší ubytování na Curacau
Pros:

Hostitel je naprosto skvělý a velmi pečující. Se vším nám ochotně poradil a pomohl. Ubytování bylo pohodlné a mělo plně vybavenou kuchyň. Velmi jsme ocenili soukromé parkovaní. Snídaně byly super.

A charming villa turns into a cozy boutique hotel!
Pros:

Excellent service from the staff. Roger, the owner himself, took time to talk with us and we shared good stories about trips and hospitality.
Good location, nice breakfast., impecable cleaning.

Cons:

My room was upstairs very close to the stairs and those stairs are not safe, personal opinion. Besides that, I will stay at Villa Amalie again in another nice room downstairs.

Schöner Aufenhalt.
Pros:

Schöne Unterkunft. Unser Apartement war in einem anderen Gebäude, das war uns aber bewusst und nicht schlimm. Gutes Frühstück. Gute Lage zu La Punda Viertel und auch Rest der Stadt.

Esta muy bien ubicado cerca al centro de la ciudad, se puede ir caminando porque el sitio es tranquilo y seguro.

Quaint and cosy
Pros:

The staff is really nice and helpful. The accommodation is clean and charming. Love that my husband and I each had our own duvet, so no tugging on the duvet at night. Towels for the beach and pool. Even though there is no pool on the premises, they gave you day passes for a location near by. You are downtown and in walking distance of the historic city center. Animal friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast was set, not choosing your own, worse though was that it was just for an hour, no sleeping in on your holiday. The rooms unfortunately were very noise sensitive, sound travelled. The stairs to the room are awkward, especially if you have balance or orientation issues. But there wasn’t much to dislike.
