Wonderful stay

Pros:

Die Zimmer mit Seesicht und kleinem Balkon vermitteln das perfekte Feriengefühl und lassen einem total entspannen.

Cons:

Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, zeigt jedoch viel Charme. Der Standard ist halt nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäss für ein Vier-Sterne-Haus.

Inakzeptabel für ein sogenanntes 4Stern Hotel

Cons:

Ich wollte lediglich die Vorhänge ziehen damit wir früh morgens durch das Licht nicht gestört werden, aber daraus wurde nichts. Stange löste sich von der Halterung und blieb hängen. Als meine Frau kam um wenigstens den Rollladen runter zu lassen fiel der ganze Vorhang mit Stange auf sie.

Ausser Schmerzen und blauen Fleck ist zum Glück nichts passiert aber was das tragische daran ist, ist dass sich aufgrund der Länge des Gurtes der Rollladen nicht ganz runter geht. Somit war ab 06uhr das ganze Zimmer hell.

Habe es der Rezeption noch um 23uhr circa gemeldet und beim Check-out auch.

Ausser Verständnis kein Entgegenkommen.

Très bel hôtel dans un emplacement magnifique mais certains détails à revoir.
Pros:

La beauté des lieux - La gentillesse du personnel
La vue sur le lac.

Cons:

Le service bar qui ne débarrasse pas de suite les tables, oublie à chaque fois d’avoir des chips lors des commandes d’apéritifs alors que les autres clients en avaient systématiquement.

Nettoyage de la chambre car joints de salle de bain par terre / cheveux à divers endroits.

Rapport qualité / prix, mais c’est la suisse …
L’établissement est ancienne (les lits sont confortables, mais le sanitaire, la robinetterie, c’est un peu vieux)
Le petit dej est très limité
Absence de machine à café ou bouilloire dans la chambre

Un séjour de rêve pour notre 33ème voyage de noce

C'est un hôtel super, tout près du lac et si vous avez une chambre coté lac et le soleil est au rendez-vous des le matin, un rêve. C'est un moment magique. On a eu la chance d'avoir une réceptionniste jeune et dynamique et qui nous a expliqué en 3 mots tout sur Montreux: Merci

Second visit to this grand old lady of montreux
Pros:

Location superb right on the lakeside with just a pedestrian walkway in front, a 5 minute walk to the queen studio experience and other amenities of montreux, a 10 minute walk for the montreux train station, chillion castle around 30 minute walk, on the way look up to see where freddie mercurys old apartment is located. A 10 minute bus ride which is free with the riviera pass to vevey and its attractions. A hard to beat lake view from our top floor room. We stayed in early April, and it was so quiet and peaceful despite it being the Easter bank holiday weekend. We both slept very well, and the staff in the hotel were friendly and professional.

Cons:

The hotel is a grand old lady, which we like. However, some modernising and maintenance on the hotel balconies facing the lake is required.
