There are no bbq (braai) facilities, it is not self catering. It is a Hotel with a restaurant. Other food options are in town and nearby.

Very strictly no people under 13 and no more than two people per room. Due to third party liability and insurance issues. (proof of age required, if there are any doubts)

Lovely view of nature, sounds from nature and quiet sleep. Loved it.
Pros:

Awesome to sit on the deck and see the birds, crocodiles, hippos and elephants.
The hippos are very noisy early morning and we enjoyed that so much!
Lovely stay.

Cons:

We love good food and good coffee. Only had one meal, but it was not that great.

Pros:

Emplacement idéal à 12mn en voiture de l entrée parc Kruger. Bel hôtel avec magnifique vue sur la rivière où on avons pu admirer toute le après midi une grande famille d hippopotames. Chambre tres spacieuse et diner très copieux.

Nous avons adoré !
Pros:

L’accueil et la gentillesse du personnel, la vue sur la crocodile river, nous avons pu voir plein d’hippopotames. L’emplacement est parfait pour démarrer un safari en entrant par la Malelane Gate.

Pros:

Wonderful place to stay. This was our second time back because we loved the first time so much. The location is out of this world. Truly a magnificent place to stay and experience wildlife in comfort.

Beyond amazing
Pros:

This is a stunning place right on the crocodile river bank. When we arrived we were blown away by how beautiful it was. You can experience wildlife right from the deck looking over the river. We saw hippos, crocodiles, buck and elephants just in the first hour after booking in. It was incredible. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and we've already recommended it to all our family.

Prachtig zicht, vriendelijk personeel

Cons:

Kamers zeer basic en met 'oude' wollen dekens ipv dons, ontbijt ook basic (fruit uit blik, geen capuccino, slappe toast,...) en daar bovenop kakkerlak in de badkamer 🙁.

Can't wait to return again! loved everything ...
Pros:

As a family we were delighted to have rooms next to each other and they even situated us at the far end so it was more private, the staff especially Mr. Treasure was brilliant, gave us great advice and shared great stories, The view was amazing and during supper we were visited by an elephant and her calf. My kids wished that we stayed longer.

Cons:

My daughter doesn't eat eggs or red meat (breakfast), i was happy that they could give her something off menu but maybe a bit more variety for breakfast would be great. The dinner menu was wonderful.
