Be very quiet, no flash photography, sharp lights or spotlights when the large animals like elephants or Hippos are next to the deck. These animals are wild and unpredictable when startled or annoyed. It is a deadly hazard to be taken seriously.

There are no bbq (braai) facilities, it is not self catering. It is a Hotel with a restaurant. Other food options are in town and nearby.

Very strictly no people under 13 and no more than two people per room. Due to third party liability and insurance issues. (proof of age required, if there are any doubts)

Pros:

The view was exceptional. The place is serene away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Cons:

I did not like the fact that they do not allow kids under the age of 13 at their accommodation. Some family members wanted to book there as well, but because they had a kid under 13, they were denied accommodation.

I recommend this hotel
Pros:

The room was spacious, had a small refrigerator, and everything you need. There's a restaurant on the property, but we didn't have time to try it. There's parking, and the grounds are gated. It's 15 minutes from the Malelane Gate. It has a beautiful view of the river, and you can watch both sunrises and sunsets. At first we were very cold, but then we figured out the problem with the air conditioning.

Pros:

Very nice place to stay before entering kruger. Perfect scenery, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Cons:

The noise coming from the industry in the background. That is the only spoiler. Not disturbing but if you are sensitive to background noise (like me) than it could spoil your night.

Pros:

Prachtige locatie met uitzicht op de rivier met o.a. nijlpaarden en krokodillen. Heel aardig personeel en kamers waren prima in order en in lijn wat je mag verwachten qua prijs.

Cons:

Diner was matig en lage waterdruk van de douche.

Pros:

The View was great and the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The outdoor spaces were not kept clean and the furniture is stained and old. The bedroom furniture is basic. They advertise soundproof rooms but we were woken up by the noise of another visitor, the security did take care of the problem timeously.

Pros:

Traumhafte Lage mit Blick auf den Fluss, an den zwei Abenden, die wir hier verbracht haben, konnten wir von der Terrasse aus Hippos, Elefanten, Krokodile, Wasserböcke und noch mehr Tiere sehen.
Saubere Zimmer.
Freundliches Personal.
Unkomplizierter Early Check-Out.

Cons:

Der Pool wirkte auf uns leider nicht besonders einladend und trotz guten Wetters, schien er mehrere Tage nicht gereinigt worden zu sein.
