Be very quiet, no flash photography, sharp lights or spotlights when the large animals like elephants or Hippos are next to the deck. These animals are wild and unpredictable when startled or annoyed. It is a deadly hazard to be taken seriously.

Parking is free, secure and undercover

No pets of any kind allowed

There are no bbq (braai) facilities, it is not self catering. It is a Hotel with a restaurant. Other food options are in town and nearby.

Very strictly no people under 13 and no more than two people per room. Due to third party liability and insurance issues. (proof of age required, if there are any doubts)

Pros:

A perfect place for a pit stop or to stay just outside Kruger National Park. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. Great view of the river.

Lovely stay near Kruger with beautiful view!
Pros:

The room was great and the view of the riverbank was amazing. We could see Hippo, crocodiles and multiple other animals.

We also loved how friendly and positive the staff was. Can recommend everyone visiting south Africa to go there!

De locatie is super, dichtbij de gate van het Kruger en aan de krokodillenrivier 😃. Kamers schoon maar gedateerd. Prachtig zwembad maar de ligbedden zijn alles behalve comfortabel. Heerlijk gegeten voor een mooie prijs.

Cons:

Het is gedateerd, het restaurant heeft een prachtig uitzicht maar is niet meer dan dat. Er staan banken waar ik zeker niet op zou gaan zitten. De eettafels zijn wel zeer mooi. Jammer dat er in de avond geen licht (uiteraard diervriendelijk) op de rivier staat.

It was perfect for what we needed.
Pros:

Location was spectacular , exactly what we needed for the night.

Cons:

Such a beautiful location… they could have upped on the restaurant experience.. we didn’t bother eating there. It could be an extra attraction for the hotel. Its just a comment rather than a ‘didn’t like’ would stay there again

Pros:

Fantastic friendly staff, very helpful and the food was delicious. The deck on the river is like you are basically in the park. Could here lions roar and saw so many animals coming to the river

Tout était parfait , l'emplacement, avec chambre balcon avec une magnifique vue sur la rivière dans laquelle il y avait des hippo, des crocodiles etc.
Chambre spacieuse avec lit confortable.
Lieu très sécurisé.
Un havre de paix

Cons:

Le repas que l'on nous a proposé de prendre en chambre si nous le souhaitions, était froid..dommage.

Super Lage, direkt am Fluss.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft besticht durch eine traumhafte Lage direkt am Crocodile River. Auf der Terrasse wird auch das Essen serviert. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam und bereitet auch die Speisen zu.
Das Bett war sehr komfortabel.

Cons:

Unser Raum hätte gerne etwas sauberer und weniger steril sein können. Nichts an der Wand, keinerlei Deko, einfach kein Charme.
Das Badezimmer hat überhaupt nicht überzeugt. Die Dusche schmutzig, Schimmel in den Fugen und die Toilette machte sehr merkwürdige Geräusche.

Cons:

El servicio del bar-restaurante para el desayuno no funcionó bien. Quisimos tomarnos solamente unos cafés con leche y después de 15 minutos de espera nos tuvimos que ir pues ni tan siquiera habían empezado a prepararlos.
